Just a warning to those who GSX you have to wait until you are connected and chose your pushback direction before going into hotel mode
The start in hotel mode is very, curious, is the first time that I see it and I think that it is a very smart solution.

Hotel mode is also a term used by the pc24 however that’s a jet so it’s a different system.

I understand that it's tough to model digital instruments and have a way to change settings when the knob or button is not in sight on the panel. I am sure struggling with clicking in the correct spots and memorizing the clicking areas. I guess I will get used to it.
Ha, even on the OLD ATRs that I flew, we had the prop brake. I wasn't especially comfortable using it, though I did a few times. We would just go the old fashioned way and start one engine with the GPU plugged in. With the engine running, the GPU could be disconnected and ramp personnel out of the way to start the other one. This method was used on all the other turboprops I was around WAY back in the 80s and 90s.
Great tutorial! Saab 340 also uses a prop brake.

Hotel Mode was developed by Finnair, the launch customer. The current models have an APU as an option but it’s very rare as it has to be put in the cargo hold
To my knowledge only very, very few aircraft were delivered with an APU. The rest relies on hotel mode.

Thanks! It takes a bit of doing the procedures again and again, but at some point you kinda get accustomed to learning new planes.
Did my first flight today and it went pretty well. There is a bug with loading airways. It loads all the way points like 5 times. Also can't get the condition levers to go to cutoff.
Great price, the product is good but the sounds of the reverse are to be reviewed and it is very difficult to keep the runway center landing and take-off.
We must consider that we are not in a real plane and we can only count on the sense of sight

for some reason hotel mode only works if i only have my batteries on, nothing else. after setting up and everything, it never works for me. pump 2 is on, eng start to a & b, eng starter 2 is on and the nh% never exceeds 0.1%. but it works perfectly fine with nothing but the batteries on
Hi! Thank you for your excellent videos. I have a question, when I set the trim to the required value (I do it with numpad num1 and num7, up and down respec) the value on the screen falls again to 0,0 by itself (Hyd on). I manage to put it in the required value using the trim manually, but then it doesn't hold it, it falls again to 0,0 according to the screen) Am I missing something? When pressing the take off config button obviously a warning acoustic alarm come out because of that! Thank you in advance! Congrats for your tutorial again, exceptional work!
I follow the procedures as stated in this video (and a couple of others here on youtube), but my enginees just won't start up. Oil levels remain red and low. Interesting enough on the SYS screen they both always state 17,9% (NH%), never 0%. But TQ% is always at 0% and they will never start.

1) A security system. My apologies for not going into further detail.
2) Never seen this. I sometimes had issues after a turnaround, but nothing general. Make sure to point it out to asobo, if you've got a bug there I'm sure they can fix it.
I think you mean CDLS? Cockpit Door Locking System.. just the door lock. Back panel behind the FO. I don't think you can actually switch it in the sim though.
I have tried following this step by step (it’s a great, easy to follow tutorial by the way so thanks for that) but when I click the external power button, I lose all power to the ACFT, all the generators buttons are switched on

@@flyt0Live I had the same issue. By selected ENG 1 Pump to ""run" I could turn the External Power off without a problem.
In hotel mode the GSX detects that the engine is on and won't let me pushback, how to do in this case?
Scream at GSX for not being flexible.
I don't know what I'm missing. I've gone through the videos like 3 times, but every time I get to the end here my AC Gens are fault and Hyd is low.
Found my mistake. I was starting up the engines but not advancing CL 1&2 to Auto, which means the engines weren't spinning up enough to power the gens/hyd

How do I change the pitch trim for take off, as there is not a wheel or am I missing something ?

This aircraft addon is somehow worse than all of the default aircraft. It flies like a porpoise and handles like running on a thick sheet of ice.
How come your Speedbug indicator is magenta? for me it always is blue?

Starting from EXTERNAL POWER mode on the tablet, there's no way to turn on HOTEL MODE, neither with EXTERNAL POWER OFF and only BATTERY ON. I tried following your video step by step.
Should work with external power ON. I never had problems with it.

I think there are abnormal behaviors in the areoplane states. On another occasion I reloaded a ground flight while at the end of the taxi way: the airplane was born off, after selecting READY FOR TAXI mode the throttle moved late and the airplane soared. Perhaps it is best to start cold and dark and do all the procedures, pending a bug fix, which (at least I think) may not happen.
