    Just picked up at 2021 Dodge ram Cummings diesel. I also have a 2018 Dodge ram with the big hemmie. Love Then both. Pull a 9000 pound trailer to Georgia from California with my 6.4 It pulled that trailer like a big dog. With the coil Springs. It was not a Cadillac ride but it was real close. I have a similar truck- the air suspension is amazing. Love the ability to drop it all the way down to “transport mode” when connecting my trailer. One think to keep in mind especially with a 5th wheel- you want to lift the jack to start taking weight off the truck, once you see the truck start to come up stop and let the truck level itself otherwise when you pull away from the trailer the truck will shoot up pretty high in the back which could cause it to hit the trailer. On the tires- my original set only lasted me 27k miles bulling a 10500lbs trailer. I have not been able to get more than 30k on any tires I have used but they all wear easy.

    Nice review. Truck looked good in front of your trailer. You can always add air bags to the truck for less money than factory but having it as a factory option would be nice. As for the 3.42 man I’d gladly give up a little top speed (75 compared to 80 on a 6% grade, who cares) for improved fuel mileage.

    • @JB_WhoWork
      @JB_WhoWork  Před 2 lety +1

    Hello sir, I’ve done a ton of research but would like your input because you’ve driven a ton of these trucks. I am leaning 2500 due to the off road package. I will be using it to ranch and don’t think I’ll need the payload as much as I do the towing. Is there a big difference with the bilsteins? It seems like a great deal vs aftermarket suspension parts on a 3500. Thank you
