Thank you for this video. I passed Developer Associates yesterday with a score of 947 and now I'm going for SysOps Administration by next month's end. Already got Stephane's SysOps material from Udemy. What I got from this video is that I shouldn't be too overconfident and do as much hands on as possible to understand the real case scenarios. I might get errors too and this will help me in troubleshooting. Looking forward to prepare at my best and pass this exam in one go.

I prepared a lot and worked with AWS as a software engineer for a while, but the more test exams I take, the more I'm aware I just can't memorise it all and it depends on what questions I get. It's uplifting to hear your story because people always talk like they pass AWS certs with no issues at 1st attempt.

I'm waiting for my result, there is not pass or fail in the screen for the C02, you have to wait for your result, the message say 5 business days, but the SOA-C02 was a nightmare, it requieres a lot but a lot of hand on experience, most of the questions ask for details like the specific name of an configuration option, sometimes thats is the only difference between an answer and other, if your don't know that little detail, there is no way to know which answer is more possible, i've been working with aws for 2 years and still was not enough, especially the parts related with AWS organization, sometimes you got almost exactly the same 4 answers except for a little detail changed, sometime all the 4 answer are correct, but you have to choose base on cost, or performance, or availability, so be careful reading those details in the questions, it was plenty in multiple choice questions, and the multiple choice are all or nothing, the labs were easy, and i got and issue saving a configuration, i got a insufficient right message in the aws lab account, i had to close and open the browser of the lab to save my changes to the environment.
In my case , i'm not english native, so they give me extra 30 minutes, even when i got 220 minutes to do the exam, i just leave it with 10 minutes, tired, and the worst i will have 5 night without sleep thinking in the grade because as i told you, there is not Pass or fail immediately on the screen as in the aws developer or architect.

@@ivartheboneless5636 great work!! 👍 I would recommend still studying for solutions architect and developer cert mainly for your own learning - since it gives 2 more perspectives of how aws services are used to help customers :)
However, if you want to optimise money and time spent studying, maybe go through the AWS official practice exams for the certs and any free online questions! That way you can see if you have all the required knowledge - and then studying specifically for things you didn’t end up learning from SysOps.
