    AWS SysOps Certification Tips - How I cleared in 3 weeks
    This video provides detailed account of how I cleared AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification with 3weeks’ preparation. I give details of the study materials I used, the practice tests I have taken, my practice test scores and tips to help you in your preparations. I have also talked about the key topic areas from where I got questions in my exam. You too can expect many questions from the topics I have listed in my Video.
    If you are not a native English speaker, then you can claim +30 minutes extra time.
    My suggestions is that you can do the preparation based on practice tests, as detailed in the below steps
    • Go through your set of slides for AWS SysOps associate course / other reading material once. Create a quick reference note based on your reading.
    • Take your practice test 1
    • Assess the answers, update your notes and retake the exam
    • Again, assess, learn, update notes and take next practice test
    • Use the two sets of official practice questions provided by AWS (link available from the certification page)
    • Take at least 3 practice tests + 2 sets of official practice questions.
    • If you are able to score 60-65% in your official practice test (20 questions), you are more or less ready for the final exam
    Here are some of the useful links which I have talked about in my video.

    Good video, thank you. Lots of great info and straight to the point. Surprised that you thought the Developer was the most difficult, as I've always heard that one was the easiest and SysOps the hardest. Doing my SysOps next week, your exam topics have me worried because I haven't encountered many of them yet!

      I wish you all the best for your exam. Somehow, my experience was that
      SysOps was easier. Yes - the experience may vary from person to person.

    This video provides some useful tips about how to prepare for the AWS SysOps Admin Associate exam and what to expect on the exam day. I wish you all the very best. It will be great if you can add your tips here once you complete the certification exam.
    Additional Note: Thanks to @dasaridundinagasuresh1620 who highlighted the fact the lab is not part of the exam as of now. AWS has temporarily removed the lab and increased the number of questions to 65. Exam duration is now 130 minutes. However, all the tips I have discussed in this video (questions, topic areas, practice exams etc..) are still valid for the certification exam. You can ignore the mention about the lab. Wish you all the very best!

    Hello sir, Sir is the AZ-104 exam same as sysops exam?

    • @UnusAWS
      @UnusAWS  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Yes. Azure AZ-104 is comparable to SysOps exam in AWS, in the sense that both certifications are for Cloud infra support teams, mainly. I have taken both these certifications. I felt that AWS SysOps was more easier than AZ-104. Maybe because I have spent more time with AWS than Azure.

      @@UnusAWS Thank you sir for the reply I'm definitely taking Sysops I'm thinking of taking AZ-104 too as many job openings are for Azure. The way you explain makes me motivated to take these exams😊

    How Much experience does one need before enrolling for the exam. I don't have experience in AWS and a beginner , can it be possible for me to Clear the exam with self Preparation. Kindly suggest.

    • @UnusAWS
      @UnusAWS  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi Akhil - Yes, it is possible to pass the exam with self preparation even if you don't have actual work experience. Experience is not a mandatory condition for enrolling for the exam. If possible, it would be good to take Cloud Practitioner certification as the first step, and then go for associate certification such as SysOps. Cloud Practitioner is easy and it will give AWS exam experience.

    Can you please share the notes link that you prepared on your own for Certification Exam Unus.

    • @UnusAWS
      @UnusAWS  Před rokem +1

      These notes are taken in short-hand with lot of shortcuts/abbreviations and jumps from one topic to another unrelated topic. Mostly with half baked sentences which act as reminders. Not sure if you will find it useful. However, I have uploaded my notes here. See if it helps: s3.amazonaws.com/klowdbay.com/02.+CheatSheets/SysOps+Exam+Prep+Notes.pdf

    • @UnusAWS
      @UnusAWS  Před 4 měsíci

      50% is slightly less. But 2 weeks' time is sufficient enough to close the gaps. Analyze the wrong answers and take notes. That will help. You may also check the explanation for right answers. You will get some new learnings from the explanation. And after that you can take the official practice test. If you are able to get 60%+ in official practice test, you can go ahead. (Passing score is 72%, but from my experience, a 60%+ score in official practice test indicates you are ready)
