Dylan Sellers Individually that team is one of the best, if not the best, along with Brazil and France, but the managers they get are just not very good. They consistently fail to get the best out of the players, and the squads that are chosen doesn't help. Constantly calling up Higuain when he has proved again and again he can't compete in the big moments. Dybala should be chosen over him.

Your football IQ is really really low. When you put on a great attacking player like Messi it forces the other team to change it's tactics and play more defensively, that takes allot of pressure off the defense

While this is not necessarily an accurate indictment on how bad Argentina is right now, it is a horrible symptom. Good teams/WC contenders don’t get owned like this, even when playing with their B team. I think Sampaoli is a bad fit for the team, and there are cohesiveness issues that are beyond his control.
