- After much research and reading horror stories of people spending fortunes on mechanics incorrectly guessing what was causing this common problem on these traverses, this how I fixed it.
Thank you very much for posting.
I’m having the same problem with my 2016
Yes, I have a problem 2 I have a Chevy Traverse 2010. You know, make a noise inside the engine and I have a couple light on. I don't know what it is. I tried to fix it. I tried to turn it off. It's not going off. Do you have any solution? For my car, my brother or my sister sorry.
Have you replaced the fuse box under the dash on the passenger side? This may be why you are doing the same job 4 years later. just a thought, either way thank you for the video. This was very helpful
The relays associated with the codes I was getting are only in the under hood fuse box.
Smarty pants
I have a 2011 I had the fuse box replaced last September this year the car isn’t running when I tighten the screw at the top of the fuse box it never tightens it just spins what should I do?.
Those screws don't get tight. They are designed to just bottom out snug. That is not why your car is not running
Appreciate the video. I have ths issue and just spent quite a bit having a CAT bank 2 replaced, afrer the dealer assured me that this was causing the issue associates with the reduced power message. Are those screws supposed to bottom out hand tight? Because, I tried to tighten mine, but they continue to spin with little effort at what I would expect to be the bottom. Thanks for the video
The screws are not supposed to get tight. They just bottom out to pull the electrical connector on the back side into place
@@MoneySavingDIY-sl2kh but should they keep spinning
@@TheReelDeal-jq4qt yes
@MoneySavingDIY-sl2kh I'm only wondering because I turned those screws, per your advice and today the engine light is off

I've been experiencing all of this!!! Tried to change relay but no changes. In 1 week I paid $500 in tow bills. So change the entire fuse box itself?
It worked for me and is a known issue with this year. That might be your issue but it could be something else
i just did one of those replaced fuse and car started , i also noticed that wire harness just above the exhaust manifold was leading to the ecm was deteriorating and some of the wires melting together, check that as well
I'm definitely have a lot problems
I am having issues with my Chevy Traverse
I feel your pain
I have the same lights on on my 2013 Chevy
Bro I was trying to do this but couldn't get fuse box out. I undid the screws in middle and the clamps on side. But something is still holding it in
When I did it, after I got all of the clips released, the Connectors were still in the fuse box holding it down. I could tell because the screws were all the way up they did not fall down. I gave the screws I mild hit down and that pushed the Connectors down then the fuse box was free
The screws right there on top? You gave them a tap and it dislodged it? Cause I tried everything man that I'm able to do with this code it went away for about a month to two and came back so I'm starting to think it's my fuse box but can't get the darn thing out
Yes. If all the clips on the sides are realesed, and the screws are up, tap the screws down to push the electrical Connectors off of the back side of the fuse box
I have a Chevy traverse and I’m having issues. Did you have to program the part with the dealer because they are telling me I need to do that when I get the part.
@@explodingdynamite5535 the fuse box is not programmable
