Of course! If you don't like blue cheese (lots of people don't), switch it out with any cheese you like better. It might change the dip flavor slightly but cooking is about what makes you HAPPY! Love y'all!

OK so im just wondering how do you know for sure this is an Applebee's authentic recipe or any other. most restaurant are a bit secretive about their recipes. i do love Applebee's beer cheese and pretzel app.

I want to say lucky's changed up their recipe. But the better recipe was older, was calamari, peppers and balsamic. The original that I would love to see did not have capers and used a red balsamic vinegar dressing to coat. There might have been Feta in it? 🤔
I must've missed the amount of corn starch and additional beer to make the slurry.
