Thanks for the recipe but I like the more simple recipes in the instant pot. Having to pre cook the pasta is a no go for me.

I like putting a very thin layer of real mayo on all the slices of bread and both sides of the middle slice of bread. It really helps to keep your sandwich together especially if you refrigerate it for a while before dipping it in the batter and frying. It doesn't take anything away from the sandwich; it just makes it a little more moist on the inside, especially if you are using real ham and turkey slices instead of deli meat containing some water.

I substitute chicken of chicken with Deans French onion dip ..sooo good

I like the long flat noodles better. I don't even order the soup anymore.

Best way is to hold the sandwich over the oil letting strings of batter go into the oil as you place the Sandwich in. This creates strings of crispy batter attached to the sandwich looking like a bed of straw on the plate. Nicer presentation and those crispy bits are awesome

Yes cook pasta on the side in salted water. Pasta cooked in the broth will absorb all those layers of flavors you developed to make that broth. Guess what, your broth will be gone and so will your soup!
