The world is full of flat boring lawns. I understand that you have maybe a bit too much rocks and boulders, but this one is a beauty. Leave it, it is full of potential.

Having a good sense of humor makes working a little easier.
It's too bad the top of the 'big rock' isn't real flat. It would make a great place to have pots of herbs for cooking or perhaps a table and chairs for dining. Either way with the rock or without it we know you will make it work for you.
'G' we like how you are using the small rocks for defining the garden and tree areas. It makes them look special and pretty.
Animals sure know how to make the most out of the hot weather ~ find the shade and take a nap.

Loved seeing your tomatoes! It’s been an awful start to gardening season here in Montana USA. I had to pull out all tomato plants and throw away. Got a weird virus that after doing much research found there is no treatment and would probably not even get much of harvest if left. I’ll get some seed for dwarf tomatoes and grow indoors.
I think like every one else I would find a way to income that large rock into your patio. Maybe hallow out a place for water and a birdbath, small hallows for little plants that are drought tolerant.

I saw on TV once a method of splitting rocks. It comprised of drilling hole in the rock and then pouring in a compound and leaving for a day. The compound expands as it cures and exerts enough force on the rock to split it. If you have a hard rock which you rely have to move, this might be the way to go, although it means drilling the rock in the first place, not easy if it has a granite type composition. It may be possible for you to look up the method on the web.

The pointing is coming along nicely! It certainly makes a difference to the final appearance and finish to the wall. When are you starting the roof structure? Obviously you want the roof insulated and dried in by the end of summer. The patio area is an ongoing ever changing project. The huge rocks really are limiting just what you can manage to do with the area. I suppose if you were to build a wooden deck over the top of the stones, the quickest way to get a level even finish. You could then have various levels to add interest. It might also be the answer to having to haul out/smash/grind the rocks. Plus you wouldn’t have a problem with any water damage to the patio as you know the drainage underneath is the best you can get. No puddling under the deck to worry about! I see once again G the veggies are growing at a pace, are the tomatoes Black Russian, I’ve tried them a couple of times. Never managed to get them to ripen to their black colour. Yours look great. Every thing in the garden is storming away! ❤
