I can't believe a $9 air hammer worked as well as it did. Crazy right?
$9.00 air hammer? It's $22.00 now FJB.
@@vapinbachelor289 Crazy! My local HF has them for $16 but still that's almost double the price.
Thanks for the info.
Great video. Thanx dude!😊
You're welcome!
The foam in most John boats won't water log to bad as it is styrofoam and a small amount of pour in closed cell to adhear it
What rivets did you use to fix the transducer holes? Starting my first resto project on a 1965 and your videos are really helpful!
Glad you're liking them! They are closed end pop rivets: amzn.to/3ySstLb
I just slap jb weld over all the rivets
Not sure if I missed it but did that air chisel come with the rivet bits or did you purchase those separately
I had to purchase them separate, this is what I used: amzn.to/3wUP8wp
Interesting. I have never seen that style of rivet. I like it. What was your wife doing on the other side of the rivet and is that required to make it work?
She was holding the head of a small hammer to give the rivet something to hammer against. Basically the rivet gun works by squishing the rivet, so you need something on the other side for it to squish against.
What did you use in the air hammer to set the rivets?
