Really nice pickups from Graig and Dylan! I absolutely love the image of Reggie on the ‘84 Donruss. The ‘64 HR leaders is so cool with those four players. Great stuff Steve!
Great pickups Steve. Nice cards from Graig and Dylan. Those Kellogg's and Topps Supers are cool. Terry at TJMAC gifted me several 1970 Topps football which included a Deacon Jones. I hope to add a few more players to recapture my youth collection. I like your Aaron league leader cards. They are growing on me.
Great job Steve! Wow you picked up a bunch great card man! Greg and Dylan had some cool cards for you! Love the Yall lustily found! Great Kellogg cards too! Are you working those sets? Love the them!! Great leaders cards, wow 4 HOFers on the HR card!!!! Love the 89 pack wrapper! Smoltz rookie!! Rose 74 was cool! Gary Carter and Raines Kellogg card were probably my favorite!
Thanks, Jason! I am not actively collecting the Kellogg's sets but I do like them and after the whatnot sale, I have quite a few of them so maybe I should! Appreciate you watching, take care!
Really nice additions. Also gotta love the the 1970 Bobby Murcer the most. I have always been drawn to that card for the image on it. Nice George Blanda and League Leaders cards. I collect the league leaders cards as well, just rarely share them on my channel. I should show them a little more often. The 79 is my favorite Molitor card. Enjoyed and thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you, Steve! The 70 Murcer is a really cool image and when I saw that card it looked like it had just been pulled from the pack so I had to grab it! League leader cards are some of my favorite cards, can't wait to see you share yours. The 79 Molitor card is such a cool card, man could that guy hit!
Great pickups Steve! Had fun hanging with you on Dylan’s whatnot! That Giants roster was loaded, makes me feel bad for Clemente. Stargell was the best sidekick he had.
Thanks, Theo! It was a blast hanging on Dylan's whatnot. That Giants lineup was loaded throughout the 60's and early 70's but they only played on one World Series and never won one. Roberto took home two World Series!
Hey Steve, I always look forward to seeing you have acquired for your collection. I am with you on the Kellogg's cards. They really stand out with the design and player imagery. Check out the Cobra clad in black with the pill box cap. You're not kidding about him being one of the biggest stars in baseball. I hope he gets into the HOF before he passes away. He should not have waited this long to get in. The 1963 Home Run Leaders with four HOFers is just awesome. The Giants were loaded with offense during that time. That is my favorite Murcer card. I am hoping to add it to my collection at some point. You have a beautiful example. Thanks for sharing your pickups. I look forward to your SGC returns. Take care, my friend.
Thank you, Terry! That Cobra Kellogg's card really is a great picture of him. I agree he really does deserve to be in the HOF, he could hit, field, and throw. I remember as a kid marveling at Parker and Dave Winfield and just what amazing athletes they both were. That Murcer looked like it was pulled from a pack that day, it is a great picture and I plan to grade it eventually. The Giants had so many great players in the '60s and early '70s but unfortunately only made it to one World Series where they lost a tough one! Always appreciate you watching and enjoy your comments! Have a great weekend!
Nice pickups as always Steve! I’m a big fan of the Kellogg’s cards and you got some sweet ones here! Love the Dave Parker with that 80s pillbox Pirates cap! Not familiar with the red Expos jersey that Tim Raines an Gary Carter are wearing, maybe a warmup jersey? The Topps Supers are sweet, you know I love that Yaz! The 75 Strikeout Leaders looks to be in awesome condition! Great looking 71 Sutton too, love the 72 set! I have been saying for years that league leaders cards are under appreciated! It’s a great way to get playing days cards of HOFers without breaking the bank! Good stuff my friend!
Thanks, Jim! once I saw the first Reggie Kellogg's card I knew i was bidding! That Parker in the pillbox cap is a sweet picture! Think my favorite might be the Fernando card! League leader cards Rock! Have a great weekend my friend.
Really nice pickups, Steve. Sharp corners on a lot of those WhatNot cards. I think my runner-up favorite was the '70 Murcer and my far-and-away favorite was the '71 Topps Super Pete Rose. I don't believe I've seen that one before, and it's going on my Want List, along with his '76 Topps I want in a high-grade someday. That Super is a great photo -- when do you see both a bat and a glove in the same pose shot? And on one knee in the batter's circle, with the helmet... just a great card there.
Thanks, John! That 70 Murcer looks like it was pack fresh and pulled this morning it really is in great shape! That 71 Rose Super is the one that caught my eye and why I picked up that lot. It really is a fantastic picture of Mr. Rose!
My man Reggie Jackson saw him play numerous times at Yankee Stadium n Fenway. Molitor had a sweet short swing. Great Topps Supers. Been buying some n just bought more to be shown shortly. Great pick ups!
Thanks, Scott! We were only there for a couple of days, hoping to get back there in the summer or fall, I will definitely give you a shout. It would be fun to check out card shops, how close are you to St. Louis Park?
I think I got it at Twin Cities Sports Cards. My sister-in-law lives in St. Louis Park, I usually can slip away for a few hours so I look for stores that are close to her house. The two stores I normally go to are Ultimate Collectables and Records, and Papa Hawk Sports and Collectables. Where are Baseball 365 and three star located?
@@vintageonvintage817 365 is in a strip mall off of 98th and Lyndale and three star is 8806 Lyndale ave so both are in Bloomington. Both are in strip malls. Best way to come from St Louis Park is take 169 south. Get off at old Shokapee rd, which is the same 98th.
