    I have a 2020 Crafty R with just a few different components but you’ve nailed it with this review mate..I’d agree with everything you say. I absolutely love this bike…I’ve had several lapierre’s (zest and spicy) a Spesh Stumpjumper but this bike just feels like you’re in the middle of the bike and in full control and the ride is sublime…I love it. If any of your viewers are thinking of going for one just do it, you won’t regret it. Well done buddy, great review!

    Thanks a lot for your Test, in Germany now the 2021 becomes Winner in some Tests short before the 2021 Modell changes to 2022. I have tested some Good Modells like Spezi, Trek etc
    But the Geometrie ist perfekt and very Good at UP and Downhill, I like the Style and here in Germany its driving a Ferrari not Porsche, both are Superb Cars, but Porsche 10 Times more on the Road

    I'm 5ft10 and got a medium. It doesn't feel small, in fact the top tube is longer than my Orange 4 in large. The stem is short at 30mm so you could add a longer one if in doubt. Hope this helps.

    Great review man, very helpful whilst looking at the 23 model. Obvs has a couple of tweaks to this one but the ride and sizing is what I was paying particular attention to here.
    I’m also 5.10” coming from a medium bike with 450 reach so feel quite relieved to hear sizing up is what you’ve done as I was thinking the same.

      I tried an RR version in large with the 175mm fox transfer post, couldn’t slam it enough into the frame and the length was too much for me. I know this large has a 170 own brand dropper, can you slam it into the frame further to make it fit?

    Love the look of that

    I’m 5’10” as well. Always like a smaller bike as I’m not very flexible for a long reach to the bars. Was thinking a medium but now you have me questioning my rationale.

    Very helpfull review, too late for me because I’ve ordered the RR. Other reviews pointed out that brakes aren’t powerfull enough for ebikes but they seem ok for you.

    • @TheHeadAngle
      @TheHeadAngle  Před 3 lety +1

      That’s really surprising, I think the brakes are amazing, I mean 200mm rotors and 4 pot callipers, how much more power do you need??? 😳🤓

    • @stefanwerner4373
      @stefanwerner4373 Před 2 lety

      @@TheHeadAngle thats right what Slarok has written, with 220 Front and 200 mm MDR Disk from Magura or Trickstuff Dächle same Size its much better. The pads Power 240 from Trickstuff has a better Modulation, the Original Brake Pad has more Power at Once.
      Saint Brakes have much more Power with one Finger. I drive both on E Bikes, Saint with Dächle Disk . With the MDR its now OK, but before its pure with 90 KG or more.

    Bike looks really nice but the 65.5 degree HA Is very conservative for a bike like this.
    I’m on a trail bike with 65 degrees would the bike not be better with a slacker HA ?

    erm , the bosch kiox does reverse sitting where the shimano is on your vid, but the thumb buttons are clunky to use and need a positive click and need to be flatter than this effort, so bosch fixed it by making an even worse one. I just bought a wild fs and the geo is much better than my specialised enduro which now feels twitchy in comparison.

    Thanks for the review, I’ve really been struggling to get my head around that reach. Was going to order a Medium (in Canada it’s online only) I’m 180cm and seem to be right at the top end of the Med size. 490 just seems nuts for reach. Maybe I will pull the trigger on a Large. I’m also looking at the Dusk RR as I’m not loving that Bosch display, did you test the Shimano ? Your thoughts?? Thanks

      Display might be bad but the motor gets great reviews, that ep8 rattle motor puts me right off
