Hi Sarah and the Moon Audio team. I am searching everywhere for a Bluetooth TRANSMITTER that supports the brand new "Aptx Lossless" codec. Sennheiser has awesome Bluetooth transmitter dongles but they have yet to support this new codec. Thanks - George
This is all way over my head. I’m 75 and new to streaming, so forgive the stupid question, but why can’t I just stream music from Spotify to my headphones? Or good standalone Wi-Fi speakers? (None of which I can find, by the way, so I can only assume they don’t exist.) I have stopped listening to music entirely because all I have is a Marshall portable speaker and the sound is lousy. Why is everything so complicated?
I have a USB connection coming from my integrated amplifier which I connect to a USB port on my laptop. That's how I stream music. Do I need a streamer or a Dac to get better sound?
As long as your pc has bit perfect output you should definitely upgrade your dac. You can get bit perfect output with software. It's way easier if you're using local files.
Why not use a DAP in your home Hifi chain and have it serve a dual purpose?
You certainly can if you would like to! If you don't already have a DAP, streamers provide a great option to play from your various music services and local storage.
Couldn't i just use my DAP as a streamer?
Plugged my iPhone and iPad into my Topping E50 DAC ( with Amazon Music HD) ….and it’s pretty good 😁👍
The insane added costs, the ridiculous complexity.... it's all so sad.
No,people should not waste money on music streamers! They should use their computer, smartphone and a DAC!
