A somewhat expensive solution to 3D printed barrels is printing the barrels with a slightly larger ID, then epoxying a brass lining in there. I did it for my drain blaster shotgun shells.

As far as being able to follow the video, ehh. If I was trying to recreate the mod just based on the video I think I might have trouble. I'll definitely wait till someone makes a version with external priming bars. Honestly that shouldn't be hard to model, and would take the hours and hours that you spent working with the aluminum out of the mod. Bolt action blasters are generally even easier to convert to pump action because the hole for inserting a bolt to connect priming bars to the pump grip is already there.
LightningEagle14 : come on, man - you can't deny that internal priming bars look a lot more classy... and they ARE Make.Test.Battle, after all.

I ended up braking my gearbox a month ago and gutted it all inside to make a titant tank fit.

Make.Test.Battle. Poking fun at the Imperial measurement system ever since its inception. Nice to see you're still with us man. I love how you went the extra kilometer and did the priming bars internally instead of just slapping that aluminium to the outside of the blaster and calling it a day. And nice to see how much time I can save by using a dremel, you kinda forget how much work all that cutting and sawing and filing and grinding is untill you see someone do it the old-fashioned way 😊.
For the next project, how about a nailbiter?

If you print in ABS you can use acetone to smooth the barrels. I usually dip my parts for just a few seconds then hang them to dry. Give it a day to be sure the plastic is fully cured. Parts surface will soft for a while. How long depends on the abs you are using.
Yeah thought about it. Also smoothing filler prime coat paints.
So.... I didn't want one..... And after this great now it's a must!
Looks great! Definitely enjoyed the video :) maybe one critique is in quiet moments add some music, but that's a personal preference nothing more 😝 can't wait to see some more videos soon like loadout videos and more from the mod party!
Yeah I had mic issues. During cutting it was really loud, so turned the mic down but forgot to switch it back up during quiet bits. The places were I did have music I had forgotten to turn on the mic or the battery died.
@@MakeTestBattle aww damn that's a pain, but that's okay, it's still a good video and does everything its meant to and more. You do a lot for your viewership I'll say that much :)

You can. It's also good for if you intend to let others borrow it. But non standard mags will still push down the pins, it only protects it if there is no mag in.

Well good job man! unfortunately I will not be attempting this mod. As you may or may not know that rotofury is a blaster that pushed me over the edge into a blind range while trying to mod it. That's why mine was air powered LoL

I literally just put a card board barrel where the “barrel extension” portion the rifle for shits and giggles and I feel like it made a huge improvement in terms of range and accuracy. Curious what you think of actually improving on the sniper aspect of this nerf gun in a more technical manner.
