For the turn of the century ESPN put together as music video using Aerosmiths, Dream On, compiling all the greatest sports clips of all time into one amazing video.
One of my favorite montages of all time. ESPN nailed it. I remember when i first saw it almost 14 years ago, I got goosebumps. Wish they do an updated version of that. Same song of course.
So many of my favorite moments, as a sportsaholic my whole life, so much of my childhood is in this video it truely makes me emotional. I said this on 12/31/99 and Ill say it again on 10/1/13... the greatest sports video that will ever be made! Linda Cohn said it live that night and Ill repeat it again, Aerosmith never sounded so good.

As we went into the new millineum,I found myself watching this at least 3 times that day.You can't top this.Epic footage with passion and a classic song.We'll never get it like this again.

By far....the best sports highlight compilation ever. Brings back sooo many memories. Especially New Yrs day 2000 when I made my kids watch this 5 times as they replayed it on sportscenter every hr. lol. Sure they wont forget it either.

This is incredible. For someone who saw the US Hockey team beat the Russians and win the gold, it is the essence of the message, to dream and believe in miracles and my favorite part.

Unbelievable video. I remember sittin with the kids on new years day in 2000 watchin this on sportscenter over and over all morning. I've got it on an old vhs vid, but this is awsome. I love all of the classic calls. "I dont believe what I just saw...." "Theres a steal by Bird....." Gives me goose bumps! lol

I haven't watched this video since it originally aired on ESPN New Year's Eve 1999. I always wanted to see it again but figured I never would. Who would have known you could type in "ESPN Dream On" into a CZcams search bar and have it pop right up. Bar none, this is the best 6:00 ESPN has ever aired, and they have aired a lot of historic stuff. Can't bea tit.
I sent ESPN an email to find out which song this was years later! I never heard anything back from them. For years I never thought I would come up with this until I heard this song in the radio and thought that it sounded familiar, and typed in the song's name and ESPN, and I finally got the answer I was looking for!

@Sangman035 The first bit is the '89 San Fran earthquake. It happened right before Game 3 of the '89 World Series between the Giants and the A's. The video clips are from the pregame telecast, when the quake struck. The second bit is Nancy Kerrigan at the '94 US ice-skating world championships after she was attacked by the ex-husband of her rival, Tonya Harding. She suffered a knee injury in the attack that kept her out of the competition.
