fl is good, idk y ppl think its not that good, jsut because everyone on macs using ableton Live and other stuff, ok imo the live interface is cleaner and more readable but fl overall gives a better experience if u have large monitors and shit poggers tho i love that track and doesnt look that difficult as i thought

I love how after 18 years of using FL studio Porter still gets confused.
Can't believe FL is still this weird tho.. I remember something about routing in the Mixer, which felt incredibly obnoxious to do due to the way it worked, where as in Ableton I just added a couple extra channels and there's a little drop down to route the audio to them. When I started music (long ass time ago, around the same time Porter first showed up with "Say My Name") I had a lot of issues with FL due to how convoluted somethings felt, but I liked the proprietary FX and VSTs, so I just slaved it to Ableton as a VST channel, which made life a thousands times easier. My CPU was not happy with this however. XD
why were those two channels linked? lol I'm on the edge of my seat

i love how open he is about everything he says and gives a true definition to his lyrics, and what he says about how you can reduce other peoples suffering is so touching to me.
I like how he addresses new producers. Like when he talks about vocals needing lots production, it was reassuring to me cus I’m just starting to put vocals to music I’ve been sitting on for a minute and they sound like ass lol. More artists that do these breakdowns should try to be mindful of new ppl and how they might look at something that is pretty simple as being insurmountably hard, and just a little comment about mistakes you may have made in the beginning can be very helpful.
Yeah, biggest version of this has been musicians saying the common chord progressions are overused and to avoid them. Any beginner should use whatever sounds good and enjoy the music instead of trying so hard to be original. Trying to listen to professionals' advice has hurt my progression so much

Its peaceful to me to know that when I die I wont have any more skin to be torn nor bones to be broken. Even my memory in time will be forgotten and I wont have to worry about time souring my image or my name. I'll be able to rest in peace because of my obscurity with the countless before us.

God I just love Porter so damn much. He is so wholesome, funny, insightful, wise, but also a human with flaws like all of us. Intelligence/talent is a gift and a curse, and I can't imagine the mental anguish and struggle/self doubt that comes along with the level of hyper-awareness he has. Porter, you are a living testament to the fact that art can transform the human soul, convey emotions unable to be spoken, and give hope to others. Through your struggles, I've seen someone I considered a God (literally, long story but a Virtual Self show and an extremely high dose of acid were involved) be vulnerable, bare, and human in a way I didn't think possible. You showed me I'm not alone and that there's so much beauty around me just waiting to be happened upon.That life is worth living and happiness is possible. I don't know if I'd still be here without the music and live shows you've given me over the years. I know I will never know you more than what you show on the internet and at shows, a parasocial relationship, but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work, love, and dedication you've shown to your fans over the last decade.
