Mary and the Eucharist - St. John Bosco
Mary
- God wants us to go through Mary
- Immaculate Conception
- Maternal role - Maternal is Marian - Mother of God - Mediatrix of all graces
- Only creature with a Natural relation to a divine person
- Kolbe Mary and HS act as one
- Enters into the incarnational realm
- Associated with the entire Salvation actions
- Mother of Grace
- Give ourselves to Mary - Total Consecration - Body and Soul, possessions
- A true child of Mary cannot be lost
Eucharist
- Reception of Eucharist is source and summit of Faith
- Prepare well, thanksgiving after
- Daily if possible - give us this day our daily bread
- Spiritual nourishment -
- Become like Mary at annunciation when we receive Eucharist
- become thankful, "My soul magnifies the Lord"
- Preparation
- remote - living a good life, living faith
- Thanks giving - good time for negotiation after Eucharist
- avoid being routine -
- prolong visits and thanksgiving
- Eucharistic Adoration
