Fr. Terrance at the 2018 MIM Annual Retreat on the Marian spiritual life gives the third talk entitled, "Confidence and Trust in God", in which he encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts.
The retreat was called, "Seeing Life through the Eyes of Jesus and Mary: A Scriptural Reflection".

Answer to why some/most people do not trust their life in God? Lord God the Father taught the people to be thankful and serve HIM even in sufferings and hard life. But the Jews do want to serve God nor do they like a suffering hard life. DEUTERONOMY 28;47-48. Thus, the people's ideas of religious life is hard. Instead most people like/trust themselves to worldly life. // In most RC family, for us, we must trust our Life in GOD [without pre-set condition] and we must thank GOD for whatever HE gave us.
