Mineral oil is like butter it deposits sludge in engine. 100percent Synthetic engine oil is like cooking oil which doesn't deposit sludge because mineral oil is refined molecularly in 4 to 5 stages and advanced detergents and viscosity promoters are added, some 100percent synthetic oil from motul have organic esters. Synthetic engine oil breaks down slowly so their is less chance of getting sludge if oil changed in correct intervel, never extend oil drain intervel.
