Ive added tons of traditional Indian spices and seasonings imported from India in my kitchen. To make this, I’ll need to add more 😂
But what she added were most basic spices always there in our kitchens .
@@romanaashraf9267 I’m still learning; I’m still adding more spices to my kitchen. I’m a student; a pupil of Indian culinary. I learned what you stated a few days ago. Most of these spices are in y’all’s houses. I’m a westerner in America. I just so happen to like Indian cuisine, because there is a lot of healthy plant-based recipes. I love the depth of flavor and complexity in Indian cuisine.

Haldi powder , chili powder , cumin powder and coriander is basic spice for most gravies in India .And then their's garam masala .. ( garam masala has in it many whole garam masala's (spice's like pepper ,clove ,cinnamon , Elaichi big elaichi cinnamon sticks, shah jeera all together to be dry roasted in low to medium flame .. that realizes its aroma and then on cooling its grinded .. this is garam masala . One tip .. if you find chilli powder hot .. use kashmiri chili powder .. it's very mild in heat but has flavor and adds beautiful color to gravy . In South of India cooking is more spicy . In the above recipe .. to make it less spicy I will add pinch of haldi powder half to less than that chili powder ,and everest chole masala one spoon ..and ya lemon juice .I will leave garam masala out of . this dish. While using garam masala be careful as too much of it in any dish will spoil it use it careful .
