Boy I miss these early videos, and vintage blocks, 😉 things didn’t have to be perfect, your Mickey Mouse watch, easy breezy uncomplicated manner, and vintage blocks! Ive learned so much over the years with your videos. . . Even Your cutting mat looks like mine. I Finally got a new one! Those were simpler days when You didn’t have to have the most expensive irons, gadget’s, perfect everything. You just needed a good pattern and cute fabric. It was fun watching this again. Like visiting an old friend,

I have been watching your tutorials for a long time now. They are all fantastic ... This one was up-loaded approximately 10 years ago. Love to go back and re-watch them. You were a great teacher back then and still are today. Don't ever stop teaching us all the things you have learned. A newbie or a seasoned quilter can always learn something new or how to do an old pattern an easier and quicker way. God bless you.

YEARS ago I inherited a pre-cut fabric quilt kit. I didn't know at the time it was a Dresden Plate quilt. I started with sewing all the "petals" together then stopped because there were no instructions! Now I know what to do with it!! And it will be a queen size quilt for my grandson soon to be on his way to college.

My Grandmother made Dresden Plate quilts. I remember them on our beds when I was a little girl. Grandma would make them from our worn out clothes. She even made one using old neck ties! Recently I made the baby quilt from one of your 4 part tutorials. It wasn't difficult at all, thanks to you! Now I am ready to start this Dresden Plate technique. Once again, you've made it look do-able! I can't wait to get started! Thank you Jenny for making these wonderful tutorials! I simply love them.

How times have changed!! I watched this today and was amazed that you hand-sewed the pieces. I've made a few Dresden plates and, except for one project with only two plates, have sewn all the pieces on the background with my sewing machine. I would never have the patience to hand-sew them on enough blocks for a whole quilt! and I like the look of using a blanket stitch around the edges.
