I was 20 when this came out. I'd become a fan from The Bends as my brother and I watched MTV in the 90s. I was shocked at first listen, but listened to it hundreds of times the month after it came out. This song is still my number 1. Radiohead fans have been invited on a long journey and we have discovered more than the average music listener, more than any of us expected.

@@munkymunk Pretty similar to me there dude. I first started listening to them from the Bends. They were pretty much one band up until Kid A and then a totally different band after Kid A, I wasn't sure if I'd like them anymore. Now I'm like thank god they did what they did.

It’s rare for a performance to move me to tears, but this did it with ease.

On top of the very open and odd swing groove/feel are similarly open and profound lyrics, Radiohead.
Beautiful yet haunting, something and everything.
My favourite ensemble of all others. Music made from the hearts of people with good intentions.

Thank you so much for this precious gem in the form of one of the band's most sought-after performances. I look forward to something from your 2003 Glastonbury performance or at Belfort ‘97.

I jumped in the river and what did I see?
    Black-eyed angels swam with me
A moon full of stars and astral cars
And all the figures I used to see
All my lovers were there with me
    All my past and futures
And we all went to heaven in a little row boat
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
    I jumped into the river
    Black-eyed angels swam with me
A moon full of stars and astral cars
And all the figures I used to see

It puts me in a sort of spiritual fetal position. Comforting! Surrounding myself in the beautiful melancholic sounds and southing lyrics. beautiful! One of there best songs in my opinion.
