Ok so why not just ask automakers for a special all blacked out package I think they would consider it if demand was high enough
Marc G that’s exactly what Infiniti Canada did! They came out with a new package called the i-line which offers blacked out trim, grille, and a rear lip. Name is kinda cheesy but it’s available in Canada I believe 😃

He did a great job but it is better to remove the rubber trim on both sides of the chrome trim. This is important for two reasons. 1 is prep prep prep. The most important part is a clean surface. The rubber traps dirt and other contaminants. 2. The rubber when layer over the wrap edge helps hold the wrap in place. The method in the video will work but won’t last as long as having a fully wrapped piece.

I'm impressed man. And I thought installing carpet was a skill. I got nothing on you. I'm definitely doing this, just bought a '15 and first thing I said was the chrome is ridiculous, like on so many cars. 17 inch Tires and wheels have to go too, and need tint as well. Other than that, sweet car.

There’s places that will charge you $500 and upwards to do that.

combofriend I think it’s cause it’s a sedans. I did the chrome delete on a Q60 once and it was tuff as hell, couldn’t even tuck the vinyl behind the seal
@@AnishNothoo Yeah that's what I feel like mine will be like. Or I might mess it up trying to force it. I think the knifeless tape option could help, but if I don't position it well I might cut too short and expose chrome. Either way- good job on your wrap and thanks for posting the video- it's always helpful to have more examples!

My first time attempting to wrap something do I have to use a heat gun regardless or can I simply just leave it as is with out heating it ?
I'd highly recommend using some source of heat when you need it

Finesse a regular hairdryer should work but the heat gun is more convenient
