picked up a sample of this from Sephora. love the smell which is very sweet and I like gourmand scents because they perform well on my skin. better than aquatics or freshies. I will be trying this out over the weekend!
The first blast is strong , the dry down is very thought out and worth the wait. I disagree that this is only a young persons fragrance, to each their strength. The dry down is to me the best part it is very suttle and the sweetness gets airy.
Great video , I actually went and smelled this today it's really good , I am not a fan of gourmand but I kinda liked it's not something I would want to smell all the time but once in a while is fine

Unfortunately I had this my junior year in high school so I did use it like it was nothing, but I loved it and it’s just a wonderful scent, it’s a scent that would just make people question it. I recommend it highly and this guy dropped a good video on it.

I got a sample of Polo Red Instense recently just for fun and loved it. Where I shop online did not have Intense so I ordered Polo Red Extreme, Hope they are similar because wow I really dig Polo intense sweet but something still mature there. love it

Hello and thank you for the review of this Cologne. I purchased here in Kingston Ontario for around 100 dollars. The Polo Intense and this Extreme Cologne are very similar in smell... sweet as described. BUT, I feel the staying power in the Intense is lacking. 2 hours maximum for me. Alot of people compliment the fragrance. My only wish is the scent should last a little longer... these are my thoughts. Thanks again for your review, Steven. I used to layer Polo Red with One Million and got crazy good reactions, so I tried it again with PRI and One Million Intense, great reactions again. I don't think I dare layer PRE with Prive or Absolutely Gold, but might try it out at home...For science! Great review!

Redolessence recently smelled this scent from a sample in a magazine that came in the mail and i must say i love it! the coffee scent is very prominent which gives it a smooth but somewhat musky and fruity deep scent
Great review as always. I actually went to Macys yesterday with a list of colognes I wanted to test before purchasing, but Polo Red Extreme did not make my list. However, the sales rep asked if I tried the Polo Red Extreme and I politely told her no. Well after sampling this cologne I immediately fell in love with it. Mind you, this was after testing a least 7 colognes prior to Polo. So it was no brainer that this was the cologne I was taking home with me. The first day of wearing it to work I received many compliments from coworkers. Polo Red Extreme is definitely one of those colognes you won’t be disappointed with.
I actually bought a 1.35oz after watching Carlos and your review on this I like it. I actually get the coffee at the opening stronger but as it dries down it gets sweeter.
a little feminine similarities with flwerbomb by v&r, and valentina donna at least for my taste the cofee gives it a little masculinity, after all I like it better than ultramale. like ur vids,,,
Well it's not so fruity like the First or Intense version, this one smells more like ebony wood or tonka bean, much darker and much better suited for men over 30 not for younger, but i agree about that difference with the annoying syntetic effect of one million right! has more common with la nuit of issey miyake (the first version)

Redolessence I wanted to know, I 100% love this one, but kind of reminds me of Marc Jacobs Decadence, obviously, Decadence is a womens frag, however, with how powerful it is, I think that one can say, depending on how confident you are, it could pass as a mens cologne to a small degree, very niche, but definitely, I know me personally, I pull it off, lol.. so, would you recommend that there are more gray areas within the frangrance market that can be unisex depending on how your tastes weigh? Do you agree that this smells similar to Decadence, or is it just me?
It was reassuring to hear you state that you have a "sweet nose" and that's why you don't like such masculine toned fragrances like the John Varvatos" line of Colognes for they are not definitely sweet but very sharp and masculine, but I say your reviews are very good, I call you the "Teacher and textbook" of fragrances, for your detail to all sorts of notes, although I'm more interested in what ladies feel about an specific cologne. This fragrance might be, in my opinion, the best of the Polo Red line, I really like the scent itself. Buuut that poor performance is just not acceptable for me. I tried this at a local store and it projected 30 minutes with 3 hours longevity. I think that Givenchy Play Intense does a better job, considering scent-performance-cost. Great review Steven!
I love this fragrance ❤ i work in a perfume boutique and only ever worn female fragrances however i love it on myself its unisex in my opinion the more it dries down the more soft and feminine it smells(on me at least) do u think a woman can pull of pure havane?? I love heavy gourmande smells
Polo Red Extreme on skin is super different from paper strip. I tested on my skin. The coffee scent started to shine very nicely after about 10 minutes. I also sprayed on a paper strip at the same time too, but it stayed fruity sweet for hours with minimal coffee scent. Then the next morning I sniffed the strip again. That was when it smelled similar to the day before on my skin. I think the paper texture held the fruity note longer than it was on skin. Anyway, I really enjoy Polo Red Extreme and now considering to buy a bottle of it.
One of my favorites from the Polo line. If you love coffee and fruity scents don’t hesitate just go ahead and buy this for yourself. You’ll be getting compliments from men and women. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure.

If you love Polo Red, then you'll love Polo Red Extreme. For some reason, Polo Red projects like a BEAST on my skin, especially after I showered. 🐎🏇🏻🍒

According to Fragrantica this fragrance has a blood orange note instead of cranberry.

Fernando Gomez I would say about 6 hours. It probably would have lasted longer in colder weather, but I’m in FL.

I used to wear Nautica Voyage to the gym. Cool Water is a classic, but I would prefer to wear Invictus Acqua because it's a bit more contemporary.
