FYI, Unrefined is scented. Helpful tip, instead of using cups turn this into percentages for more accurate measurements. Also vitamin E should be added in the cool down phase 😉
after or before?
@@shatteredlove4347 For the vitamin E? AFTER ☺️
Arrow root should be added while blending
@@ReneesSignaturehow much vitamin E?
@@roxannechampagne548 That all depends on the formula. It can vary (bigger or smaller batches)
I can’t wait too do this I knw there’s different ways but soo far this looks right
I got excited! It look so creamy! I love it!!!!
Beautiful!!! Thanks so much for share it ♥️
Thanks for the tutorial, was worth watching.
Looks so good! Thank you for sharing!! For that heavy KitchenAid stand mixer, I leave a very thin, folded tea towel under mine so it glides on the countertop and easier to move around. :)
Silicone spatulas are the best when it comes to scrapping and getting every little bit possible
Thanks I’m definitely going to try multiple colors 😊
Thank You for sharing, I needed some body butter to make, this recipe is the best.
I’m about to make a batch of body butter for personal use. Thank you
So that’s how you get rid of the smell! Omg thanks for the info it was so frustrating
This was cool to watch! Do you have a video on preservatives?
Very beautiful which mica powder do you use?
Nice ! Lovely !
Finally found a good video and recipe for body butter. Thank you🥰🥰
Of course lovely, glad I can help💕💕
Ty for sharing ! May we know what preservative you used? Ty so much 😊🥰
Thank you for sharing, love to watch small businesses do this. Me and my sister and mom are opening up our body butter business and I have a few formulas I'm testing and so far so good! But I still love and appreciate seeing other people like you do it. It's so fun and pleasing to the eye, not to mention great for the skin. The best part I feel so calm and happy doing this. Much love and successful wishes from me to you!
Hola!!! Mi sueño tb es abrir un negocio de cremas corporales 😥 te piden algún registro o algo?
@Sandra Guerra there’s no water in the body butter so no need for preservatives
Hi! Thanks for the video can you tell what kind of preservative you use
Thank u so much for this 💓 💗 💖
Beautiful
Ty for sharing. I have been trying and trying to get a soft fluffy body butter for some months now and it seems to stiff up on me every time. Ty for your tips.
How many quarts is the mixer that you made this beautiful body butter in?
Thank for sharing i am new at making body butter i will like to see the measurement for the amount you make
Thank you for such informative video, do you know what quart size is your mixing bowl? Thank you
Hello love! With the micas are they cosmetic grade micas? They don’t rub off on the customers skin at all? 🤔🥰
What is the consistency once it sets for a couple days?
Thanks for sharing this nice
Loooove it! 😍😍😍🤟🏽‼️
How do you keep this from
Melting in the summer when you ship them?
I have two questions, what ratio from butter to oil do you use? And could I use mango butter instead of cocoa butter, would it come out as the same texture?
Its so beautiful I like it ❤❤
Awee thank you so much ❤️❤️
Hi did you use a ring light to shoot this video? If not, what do you recommend using to make product videos?
😍🤩🥳I like it
The music 🎶 💗
Hello, how to make those color preservatives? I'd like to make those for body butter business. Thank you
Can a regular whisk be used if I don't have a hand mixer
Where is your shea butter from?
what did you use for the color? im trying to figure it out but i cant find much
This is so helpful. I am also wondering about fragrance and does the coco butter sent come through like other recipes I have tried. You are amazing...thanks again for the inspiration
It does but you can always mask it by adding more fragrance. I didn’t because I didn’t need it to be too overpowering and also wanted the natural smell to pop out a bit. Some people are sensitive to overpowering fragrance
Which company do u get the frangrances
hi. i want to make 12 6oz body butters with a 5lb shea butter. how would i make this batch ? using your recipe
Is there any way you could list the brands of products you use?
What kind of preservative did you use?
Where do you get your butters an oils from ??
I like how she gets to the point .....
What mica brand are you using
When did you add the fragrance?
Did you use refined almond oil ?
When to add essential oil?
Thank you for sharing.
Of course 🥰🥰
how much does the 12 cups of shea butter weight please?
Arrowroot is it like cornstarch?
What mixer Is this? I love your recipe🙌🏽
It’s the blue kitchen aid mixer 🥰
Very nice video! Where do you get your Shea butters from? Thanks in advance.
Advise please where do U get ur shea butter and coco butter
Love this video!!! what preservative did you use and how much? also Where did you get your pigments?!
Optiphen got it off Etsy and the package tells you how much to use. I believe the highest is up to 1.0% and I get my pigments off Etsy, tkb trading, Amazon
Thank you for posting this! Where do you purchase your body butter containers? How many ounces do you use? How fun to be able to make a living doing something that actually brings peace to someones life
Hello hun, I get my containers from liquidbottles.com
In this video, I was using 4oz jars. It is extremely fun, but also a lot of work , but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else❤️
Wow beautiful love ur work can this be used on the face
Thank you hun and no because it contains coconut oil which is known to glog pores. So if you would like to use it on your face, replace the coconut oil with a skin safe oil and no fragrance or mica powder
Do you do promos? If so how much?
How much optiphen did you use? X
Where can i find the mika pigments?
Where do u get your butter at
This was helpful, thank you for sharing.
Quick question, How much optifen should I use?
Or should I leave it out?
It depends on the batch your making but it’s usually around 0.5-1%
How much did you use for this batch?
@@JessieSimilien Does optifen have to be used?
@@kashiyawilliams9853 if you are selling this product then yes because you have no idea where your customers are storing their products. So, using optiphen helps protect it from bacteria and mold if it comes in contact with water
Please can you tell me where you get the color powders . I need to get some. Thank you .
Tkb trading…I saw she got it from there in another video🥰
Who else is groovin' to the samba beat? Kkkk
I mean I watch and take notes and dance
Does this stay this consistency in the jars? How would it do if I shipped it to someone in the mail?
The moment u touch it to get some you can feel the fluffy consistency. And shipping it I would say with ice packs if it’s somewhere close but farther away, freeze it, when packaging wrap it in thermal wrap and add ice packs to the package. Always tell you customers to choose 1-2 day delivery when purchasing body butter
Why is your mica liquified? What brand/type of mica do you use? I’ve only seen the powder mica options that have a shimmer to it, which I don’t want. So if you could please share the type of mica u use🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello hun, like I mentioned in the video I mixed the preservative with the pigment to liquify it. So, there’s technically no liquified mica used. I get my mica of Etsy and TKB trading. Just search Matte if you don’t want the sparkles.
Do you use refined or unrefined shea butter? Thanks!
Unrefined/hand made/cold pressed.
They go by these names
What would you say is the best preservative ? I’m so stuck in what to use
Optiphen is a great one
What if i wanted to split this recipe in half do 4 different types of oils & do half cups of each oil will i still get the same results? Or would it come out to greasy?
That is actually a good idea when trying to gauge your oils
Arrow root really helps with it feeling greasy
@@eboneenails How about using corn starch?
Hey love do you mind sharing what pipping tip you are using?
Of course! I was using the large star tip
Thank you so much 💓
That looks like alot how many oz is that when your finished?
Malzemeler nedir
Where did you buy your mica? Is it synthetic mica powder?
I get my mica from tkb or Etsy
Hi plz ingredients in grams plzzzzzzz
When do add your fragrance or is this Unscented with color
after it been cooled down and whipped a little. same time you'd add preservative and dye
Question I didn’t even get through the video but how do you determine how much product you need to make your jars?
This is usually done by trial and error. Start out by making a good amount of batch and make sure to write down how much of each product you used to make a certain amount.
Not me over here dancin to the music!😂
Lmfaoo it be like that sometimes you know 🥰
When do you add the optiphen you didn’t say in the video
after it been cooled down and whipped a little. same time you'd add preservative and dye
How much fragrance oil you used ? And how much preservative
you need to look up the usage rates for the fragrance you're using and the usage rate for the preservative and then measure that out into your batch
Hi what kind of coloring do you use?
Mica powder 💕🤍
Do you just mix the mica into the butter with a spoon ?
Hi hun, it’s up to you honestly. If you’re doing just one color just add the pigment into the mixer when it’s time. But if it’s multiple colors, separate them into different bowls and add your colors. ❤️ hope this helps
What is the preservatives for or why use. What if I don't use it?
The preservative protects your body butter from bacteria and mold and also help it’s life shelf as well. If the butter happens to come in contact with water it can create mold.
What size weren’t the containers
4oz
Hun what optiphen perservative do u recommend to buy and where u think I can get it at ?🤭💕
I usually get a bottle and I get it from Etsy 🥰
How would I make a half batch of this when it comes to measuring?
I see you used shea butter cocoa butter sweet almond oil grape seed oil and coconut oil. What would you recommend those measurements be for half a batch?
So the measurements on this is for a full batch so cut those in half. For example, 24oz of Shea butter would be 12oz etcc
@@JessieSimilien okay great thanks I’m so used to doing it in grams 💕 thanks girl! How much grape seed did you use?
@@briissoawesome convert oz to grams hun and honestly I don’t remember but I do have other videos where the ingredients are listed in the description
@@JessieSimilien sorry if I’m annoying I’m limited on ingredients right now so don’t want to mess anything up thanks a lot for your help honestly!
@@briissoawesome ohh no hun you’re fine! I’m glad I could help you out and I definitely understand
I'll use me a hand blender
What kind of preservative do you use?
Optiphen
Does this whipped butter harden or firm up a lil overnight or a couple days please? 😊
It firms up about an hour/overnight. But it doesn’t go back to the Shea butter consistency but more so a set frosting on a cupcake if that makes sense
@@JessieSimilien
🙏🏽😚🎉 bless you so much!
#alexa!!
@@alexaavery8574 of course 🤍🤍
Do you add fragrance oils ? If so what brand ?
I do! I get my fragrances from Etsy
Thank you for sharing this girl i really an scared to just go ahead and start my business i got my logo etc and started getting labels then i got cold feet. this tight here just gave me the push im a single mom of three and i just need to stop being so afraid this could help us out alot and i want to put my all into it because i loooooveeeee body butters and skincare in general. May i ask what piping tips are you using because i love the design it gave. where did you purchase?
The piping tips are baker tips from Amazon
I am so sorry for now responding but I do hope you started that business love! I got my piping tips at Walmart but you can get the set on Amazon
Hey beautiful, do I need to have my own license to sell my own body butter. Like if I were to sell in my state or nation wide?
First starting out I do not recommend unless you TRULY know selling body is a career you want to pursue. If so, then definitely it protects you in the long run. Just do a bit more research on that.
Hello! How much preservative do you use if you don’t mind me asking?
Little by little she’s using a spoon do it until your desired color
Could you replace the coconut oil with avocado oil? 🥑
Any oils you prefer🥰
I'm curious on why you used a preservative when theirs no water in this recipe?
I used a preservative because since I’m selling these, I do not know where my customers store them so they may get in contact with water.
@@JessieSimilien Thank you so much! It makes sense on why you use it. You Rather be cautious just incase.
How much optiphen and fragrance oil?
you need to look up the usage rates for the fragrance you're using and the usage rate for the preservative and then measure that out into your batch
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hello 👋 how to use it?!
I’m Haitian 🙌🏾
Hello, best way to use it is on damped skin,
Use it like you would use a lotion except avoid putting it on your face
Ok thanks
Hey love, how was it once it set! Did it get hard
Once it sets, it looks as though it got hard but the moment u touch it it breaks apart if that make sense
@@JessieSimilien yes it makes sense but dies get like hard hard or soft hard. Do you perfer that texture
@@daphneyjeanpierre2754 it gets soft hard which I prefer because with just a small amount of pressure my fingers sinks into the product 🥰
I missed it and cant find it how much optiphen did you add to this?
About 1%
What do you use for pigment and color?
Tkb trading🥰
