Hey Ryan, here's a few tips I can provide to help you make it through Isolation with as minimal death as possible, granted some of these are videogame 101: 1. Save Your Game: you'd be amazed how many times you may die in this game, but at least saving will save you a lot of time from having to repeat areas in the game, the primary examples being Medical & Reactor Maintenance (The Hive), in the event of Ripley's death. 2. Walk or Sneak Only: Running is very noisy and attracts unwanted attention (namely the Xenomorph), so walk or sneak everywhere unless you have no other choice. 3. Watch Out For 'Dripping' Vents: You'll first see this in Seegson Comms, if a vent is dripping with slime, it means the Xenomorph is in that vent waiting to kill you (this's very easy to miss, especially in a blind panic). 4. Industrial Joes Are Immune To EMP's & Electricity: You won't encounter these guys until you get to the Apollo Core/Engineering areas: The Industrial Working Joes are wearing rubber suits, this means your EMP mines & Stun Baton are useless, use Molotovs & Pipe Bombs or the environment to kill them (the data banks in Apollo's Core has two environmental attacks you can use from the terminals, one in each bank), in Engineering, you'll get a weapon (Bolt Gun) which can kill them in one shot if you apply the zombie rule (shoot them in the head). 5. Facehuggers: You first encounter them in Reactor Maintenance (The Hive), then everywhere else in the game, you only have a few seconds to react to them, keep an ear out for their shriek & use either you Maintenance Jack or Flamethrower (you get one at the start of level) to kill, secondly watch out for closed eggs, there's still Facehuggers in them & they can catch you off guard, simply torch them to kill them. Finally, Environment & Resources: Resources are limited in this game (especially on higher difficulties), examine your surroundings carefully and find alternate routes if possible (the 'lit up' map terminals will fill out the entire area for you, keep an eye out for them) otherwise use an item to get around (example: a Noisemaker). Here's an example: Your in Robotics ahead of you is a group of looters (about 6-7), your choices are: 1. Throw a Noisemaker at them & let the Xenomorph deal with them. 2. Fight them yourself, with a 99% Casualty Rate to You. 3. Sneak around via the vent system to avoid combat altogether.

Don't craft too many of a item just because you can. You might need them later. If you're full on scrap/material, craft something useful and then pick up the loot. 3. Take your time with every place and don't try to rush it. The alien might hear you. 4. There's a lot of story in the terminal logs, it will be worth it. 5. Noicemakers, medkit, molotovs are good items to alwasys have in your pocket. 6. Remember to save your game often. The inventory: You drag your mouse to the desired item and then exit the menu. Click on any craftable item to go to the crafting menu of that item. It'll be easier to understand after some hours into the game. I would recommend having a weapon equipped. ALWAYS reload you gun after a fight. Don't waste too much ammo early in the game, you might have some difficulties with the working joes and the alien later. There are a lot of them in some arenas.

since you're playing this, i suggest a couple of tips: -try to be stealthy, sneak and crouch as much as possible. if you constantly run everywhere the alien will get you in no time. -you'll get weapons in certain points in the game, only certain ones have an effect on the xenomorph. shooting at it won't do anything other than piss it off. -hiding in lockers/cabinets are ways to avoid being caught by the alien, but hiding in lockers constantly will actually make the alien start inspecting them. -craft and look for crafting material as much as possible. there are points in the game where you will come across blueprints to build stuff.

After i played this game myself, i had so much fun, but the mechanics, are pretty broken, i mean, i had multiple situations where the alien just kept coming down the vent like 3 times in a row, and, whenever i had the motion tracker on i would sometimes see the alien just teleport himself, or even if he was right in front of me the tracker would say that he is not there😂.

Without spoiling, here's 3 tips. 1) Always save. You will die, by many means, and you will have to start the game from your last save. Look out for them and their high-pitched beep when nearby. It's faint, but you'll hear it when you know how it sounds. 2) NEVER Run. The 'killer' Axel speaks of can ALWAYS find you when you run. Walk or crouch when moving, or it's game over.. 3) Don't try to hit 'the killer', don't try to run from 'the killer', and always hide. P.S; don't get too attached to Axel.. ;)

since I'm an expert you should collect as much resources as you can see when you get the gun (revolver) do not shoot you will attract the Alien Save when you can and hide in lockers and crates don't run you will attract the Alien if it sees you for a split second hide if you die quickly pause and load game (a way to get one shot trophy) throw noisemakers‚ flashbangs and smoke bombs to throw it in the direction you want it to go to plan your escape when the Alien goes up into the vents above don't go into a drop down vent or a wall vent as it could drop down in there don't waste flamethrower fuel on everything conserve it when you see an android look at it's eyes to check if it's either blue (docile) or red (hostile)

I know that this is has already been done, but try not to run to often if you know people are around. If there’s no hostile people run all you want until you encounter the Xenomorph for the first time. After that, try to walk and sneak only. Also, the Alien can drag you out of a vent. This is mostly for people who are wanting to play the game for the first time I guess. Good luck!

I've noticed when Ryan gets invested into the game he's playing, his accent sort of obscures the words he's saying. It gets me into the game aswell, even when I don't like watching 30 min-4 hour videos. I love your content, dude

Kind of funny, considering a vicious alien is hunting all humans on the space station.
Without spoiling, here's 3 tips.
1) Always save. You will die, by many means, and you will have to start the game from your last save. Look out for them and their high-pitched beep when nearby. It's faint, but you'll hear it when you know how it sounds.
2) NEVER Run. The 'killer' Axel speaks of can ALWAYS find you when you run. Walk or crouch when moving, or it's game over..
3) Don't try to hit 'the killer', don't try to run from 'the killer', and always hide.
P.S; don't get too attached to Axel.. ;)

Hey Ryan!!!! just wondering, have u ever played soma or layers of fear? They're some pretty good horror games.
since I'm an expert you should collect as much resources as you can see
when you get the gun (revolver) do not shoot you will attract the Alien
Save when you can and hide in lockers and crates
don't run you will attract the Alien
if it sees you for a split second hide
if you die quickly pause and load game (a way to get one shot trophy)
throw noisemakers‚ flashbangs and smoke bombs to throw it in the direction you want it to go to plan your escape
when the Alien goes up into the vents above don't go into a drop down vent or a wall vent as it could drop down in there
don't waste flamethrower fuel on everything conserve it
when you see an android look at it's eyes to check if it's either blue (docile) or red (hostile)
Her mother is Ellen Ripley, the maincharacter of all the Alien movies :) the woman you heard at the beginning of the game, is Ellen (actress Sigourney Weaver)

I know that this is has already been done, but try not to run to often if you know people are around. If there’s no hostile people run all you want until you encounter the Xenomorph for the first time. After that, try to walk and sneak only.
Also, the Alien can drag you out of a vent.
This is mostly for people who are wanting to play the game for the first time I guess.

well I hope no aliens are watching this. because if they are, it means they are very close to earth, light travels so slow, if they ware let's say on mercury it would take somewhere around 6? minutes for a signal to get there. more than enough time for a request timeout to occur.
