It’s mainly just practice, see what works
When the ball gets set thats when you start going and it all depends on how far you are.
My coach used to say you should be a couple steps away from the net so you can
1,2,3,4 *hit*
First you need a consistent setter then just work with them and change when you start your approach
the apex is the time yoou make your approach
best thing which helped
me was to start running up whenever the ball left the setters hand then jumping whenever the ball is falling from its peak height. And ofc u can adjust ur run up depending on your setters set

This is actually an easy block. He's contacting the ball so close to the net that this would be a stuff block, wouldn't happen in game just looks impressive in warm-ups.
@@zDerezzedfr. These are such easy blocks, almost everyone in VNL can hit on the mans net like this, but not many chances you actually get to do this in real game cuz it would be so free for the defenders

Yeah we had a match against the girls team of our club a few weeks and i could jump with my shoulders above the net. After the first set we wetent allowed to spike the ball anymore because everything was way to hard to get
I had a match against the boys today us girls hit the ball pretty high (touching the ceiling and the gym is huge) the boys barely got it over the net
