This is the only Albert Mason method that worked, and I found the MFT all the way in Van Horn using Jono’s method on the first attempt. For context, I’ve just started playing again after a very long break from the game. I did the simple Al Mason method on my previous play through and it worked, didn’t have to track the MFT because the trail on eagle eye would still be there after the cut scene, and the horses won’t be that far anyway, just in the woods after the train tracks. I supposed R* probably updated it because in this play through, the trails disappeared immediately after the cut scene, and so did all the horses. On two attempts, only a couple of mustangs were in sight while the others despawned. Took me a couple of hours of trying, until I watched this video, and got it on first attempt.

On my first day of owning it, I nearly killed it twice by falling and tripping. Then I do Arcadia for Amateurs 4 in the swamp. Parked it a ways away from the mission. Successfully did the mission, as I’m rowing back to shore I noticed a gator bolt out of the water going at full speed towards where my beautiful horse. As I breach land and before the cutscene I notice my horse has bolted towards my direction. Skip the cutscene and it’s fully in the swamp and there are two red dot gators showing on the radar. I whistled as frantically as possible and after a delay that nearly caused a heart attack, my horse was safe. At this moment, I realized very few games can or have matched the adrenaline that is RDR2.
...just a heads up, your horse will NOT die of a gator attack even if your on it, also the gator model does not have any code written to kill your horse if your not on it😅😅😅
Many people claiming the Arcadia horse doesn't work, WRONG! You just didn't have patience. Got it on my third try. Tracked the horse through rivers and mountains and train tracks for 50 mins real time. It works 100%. Yeah, the tracking is janky, the trail sometimes get jumbled among wild animals and the horse even circles in a place many times leaving a huge amount of trails that gets hard to follow, but using common sense and a little brain you can get an abstract idea where the trail goes. Its frustrating, true, but YES, it works.
I chased it day and night lol shouting JUST JUMP JUMP!!!! the number 1 thing with any horse keep stick down at six oclock and I dead eye just to move it slightly if the horse moves you
Simply can't be done. 😢😢 i have been trying to catch this f.. horse for weeks. Today i tried this method at arcadia, 9 times!!! I always lost the track. It just disappears. This last time i tracked him for 30 f minutes, when the track disappeared. Hopeless. Maybe developers patched it? I did everything Jono told word by word..
for it to be in the stables you'll have to have reached chapter 4. Different stables have different selections so for this particular one you'll need to visit scarlet meadow stable and then for the blackwater stable you need to be in the epilogue. dunno if that helps
I went to the lady one time, shot her once, she didn’t respawn and I was like what’s going on? And then like 30 seconds later the horse was standing there and she was running away! 😂😂 one bullet😂
They patched it now, been trying for two hours and it did spawned alive and I was SO DAMN EXCITED and when I ran up to it it dissapered just like the body of the dead one, can't be done.
Bullshit. I tracked that horse halfway across the whole fucking and never saw it. In maybgame it never stops to graze it just keeps running and i never see it , only the tracks.
@@gerardotoribionunez7422 Nope, can confirm it doesn't work on PS4 anymore. I tried twice. The first time the path created an endless loop. The second path led me all the way from the Heartland Overflow through Saint Denis and still no horse. Devs must have patched it recently.
For me, Jono's channel has, hands down,THE best guides for RDR2 on the web. And I've already played the game 5 times by now.

I own one but too scared to to lose it.. so i switch between MFT and thouroghbred, and lately the turkoman…but i love my MFT

Just tried this yesterday on PS4, and I was able to track it and find it. Sometimes trails disappear, but if you go over the hill, it will keep going.
