The fact that the population hasn't decreased ever since Gaza was "Occupied" and screw it I'll just say it. remember how Israel closed its borders with Gaza? and how there's an air and sea blockade? Now you must think "Hm evil Israel occupies Gaza because of evil" Well, you'd be lacking critical thinking and basic thinking skills to think that. Israel has helped distribute aid to Gaza ever since it was "occupied" (when the IDF left Gaza lol). So you might be thinking "Why is Israel not lifting the restriction it opposes on its borders and sea access?" Well, that is a good question to ask, and the answer can be complicated, but I'll sum it up for you: first, we have the water blockade, Israel encountered multiple occasions in which hostile ships came to Gaza to supply Hamas militants with lethal equipment under the guise of aid organizations, hence why the blockade, then we have the ground fence (which is just a normal border lol) to prevent illegal immigrants or threats from crossing into Israel proper, now why does Israel restricts what's entering Gaza from its borders with it? it's contraband and lethal equipment for Hamas to utilize against Israel, which doesn't help, since their border with Egypt isn't as monitored and secured, so Hamas smuggles lethal via tunnels there anyway. Also, have I forgotten to mention that Israel was the one who supplied Gaza with its electricity and water thus far? and that Gaza was aided with a new water Infrastructure pipeline that was then dug out and reused as rockets against Israel? Yeah, Hamas prefers the Destruction of Israel rather than its people. Did you know that before Israel withdrew from Gaza, Jews, and Palestinians lived there in good relations and work exchange? It was the right way forward toward economic growth for the Gazans at the time, but when Israel withdrew under pressure, the Palestinians voted for Hamas as their new government, and it was complete chaos. Hamas threw the rival political parties out of roofs and did some horrible stuff back there. So once an organization that wants nothing but the destruction of your nation, how do you think negotiations are going to go?... as expected, no direct communication whatsoever, and when the government of Gaza wants war with Israel, teaches kids at a young age to hate Israel, teaching them that peace is not a valid solution, It's very difficult to better the relations between the two and result to peace. So getting rid of Hamas, which is a terrorist organization that proved time and time again that it doesn't care about its civilians, will be the way to go. The reason so many Palestinians got killed thus far is because Hamas uses civilians as human shields, and as in any war, there are casualties, civilian ones even, but Hamas just relies on civilian casualties as a bargaining chip. So I think we can both agree that Gaza will be better off without Hamas. But why does it all matter? Well, back to your point, Israel wants to wipe out the Palestinian people right? if they wanted to, they have the means to do it, but why would they want to? I mean, the only Palestinian civilians who were killed thus far were either ones who didn't evacuate from the war zone and were thus suspected to be Hamas militants (another tactic Hamas employs is hiding in civilian population by wearing civilian clothes and hiding RPGs under hijabs and such) and ones who were in the way Israeli strikes aimed at Hamas militants who hid around civilian areas (Some Palestinians testified that Hamas militants trapped them in their apartments so they could be used as human shields). But does Israel want to commit genocide? Uh, no, I don't know what propaganda you got that idea from, and again, if Israel wanted to commit genocide, they wouldn't bother to send templated instructing civilians on where to evacuate. As for the hostages, the government does care about them, but a permanent ceasefire will only cause this cycle to repeat itself, Israel as well as the Palestinians don't want this, and even though Israel compromised many times during negotiations on a deal, Hamas refused, and that leaves the Israeli government with two choices, both are equally critical to the interests of the nation and the Palestinians, so to go about it the right way would mean choosing the best choice out of the two, in which case one will have to look at the ideals he represent, but that's rather conflicting in this case, since both choices are equally beneficial in different aspects. So while Israel does care for the hostages and the Palestinians, there's no way around casualties and important decision-making, Israel probably has a plan to try rescuing the hostages (although probably unlikely to succeed) and to destroy Hamas for a better chance of Israel and Gaza will have good relations and that no attack like the 7th of October, or large scale civilian casualties like the Palestinians are experiencing will happen ever again.

Wait he said he wants to use, that entrance. So, there was another entrance that he could have used but didn't want too? I only ask because I see the barracks, which is usually put up to block off access to certain areas. And in the beginning of the video, I heard the guard tell someone else they have to go around, not that they can't go in. The student in question even said they closed the entrance to that side building. So, why not just go around? I don't think this is what they are trying to make it out to be.
That’s not the point the point of the video…. It was to show that some students feel that they have the authority or the right to block other students from attending their classrooms from whatever paths or entrance they choose. This is completely unacceptable. I have no idea why school security or other authorities weren’t there breaking this up?

Also context for this UCLA had told all students by email how to get to their classrooms which are located by the encampments so not to walk through them or near them this is in response to what happened on Wednesday morning
