we just got a week ago. the lights and the air conditioning are very interesting. if a door is slightly open, the air turns off. we had no issue with the AC. the Do not disturb light was odd. over all the trip was just a good or better than the first time at VIM>

We booked a trip for 11/29/23-12/13/23. My husband prefers ocean front so we booked the Emerald section. We did not think to pay attention to the resort map when we booked this room. Since then we have seen the map and it looks like the Emerald Ocean Front rooms are far from the restaurants and pools. How far of a walk would you say it would be for us to get to the restaurants and pools? We are wondering if we should cancel the Emerald room and get something else.
Hello! Your distance from the restaurants will vary based on what building your ocean view is in. Buildings 9 and 10 are the farthest while buildings 13 and 14 wouldn’t be too bad of a walk.
Have you ever been to any other resorts or just the Valentin ? Just wondering as a point of reference. When we were at the Valentin we spoke to MANY other couples who had been there multiple times and many of them had never been to any other all inclusive resorts just the Valentin. Was disturbing and a little off putting to me to hear so many label the resort “the best resort EVER” even though they had never been to any other resorts for comparison.
