I was just at TRS 1st week of April and I agree the food is probably the best all inclusive food I've ever had. Fortunately I didn't have any of the house keeping issue you had. Our room was spotless. Over all this is a great resort and IMO a very good value for $ especially if you book well in advance. I booked about 5 months in advance (November) and the price went up about $800/person/week by the time I went and had I booked a month or 2 earlier it was about another $200-300 cheaper than what I paid in Nov. I would say this is pretty close to Secrets/Excellence level resort for quite a bit less money. If people go here just be forewarned if you go to any of the other 3 palladium resorts to eat that the food and drinks are much better on the TRS side.

Hi Kevin, your video helped us decide on TRS Yucatan and we've just booked for 11 days in July. We booked directly through Palladium who had a 50% plus an extra 15% promo on this weekend (simply by joining the Palladium membership). The food won us over as that's really important to us, and plus it's recently been rated as the 4th Best All-inclusive resort in the world by Tripadvisor. First, we were worried about the lack of beach at the resort but there is a private TRS section on the Grand Palladium side of the resort with full package access. Take care and continue the great work you're doing.

Kevin, love the video, more than likely I might visit this property. The music and quality were supreme. As a native from Baires… that provoleta won me over..
By chance I had 2 other Provoletas in the past week and ahhh they didn't even come close haha.
So I went there last October and can confirm, the butlers are amazing across the board. Also, Helios might not be the biggest restaurant there, but damn, for breakfast they had these salty yellow mini cupcakes with jamón serrano in/on them that were so amazing, that I really wanna go back again this year just so I can have them again and maybe ask the cooks for a recipe, and I’m not even joking. I stayed in one of the normal TRS junior suites and it was spotless from day one, so I don’t know if there’s an actual issue with the cleanliness. The AC thing might be a design issue with your room maybe? Ours was nice and frosty like we like it the entire time. Anyhow great video! You’ve got me missing that place again.

Excellent content Kevin. It got me thinking I could visit the area and stay there until you went to the no beach/pool area. The no beach situation killed it for me. I kept watching tho. I am spoiled with Dubai hotels. Would love seeing your take of places such the Al Naseem, 4S Jumeirah. I have to admit the food for the price looks unbelievable
I love dubai, but I gotta admit I hate the Dubai sand. Feels a bit like an ashtray lol.

Yes that's the app. No idea about the freezing up, but there's an option somewhere to toggle the display language to english.

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps? golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (is. from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S.
Yup, they have buggies as I mentioned in the video. As for elevators- as long as your ground floor you'd be okay.
Very nice looking property, food looked fantastic, but no “beach”and $100 USD + for a taxi is a big no from me.

you got a f'ing canoo? that's gotta be the most original room amenity I've ever seen. Not a big fan of all inclusive in Mexico after a disappointing experience in Puerto Morelos (mostly because of the meh food), but this one makes me want to reconsider my opinion. Great video as always! Hope you get a chance to review Puerto Vallarta at some point, especially the more "authentic" options in the Romantic Zone (apologies if you've done that already -- will be looking out for it).
Haven't done it (on the channel) yet- but will be visiting this year.
That TRS (Tiramisu Restores Sanity) butler must have noticed the bulge of flip flop's wallet and decided you were getting the VIP Treatment.

Not a bad review of TRS Yucatan but you are wrong about the beach. There is a sandy beach and bar dedicated to TRS guests, however, it is on the opposite ( north ) side of the Grand Palladium property ( TRS being on the south side ). If you walk along the beach from TRS past the Grand Palladium beaches you will get to the TRS beach which has both loungers and sun beds and its own bar. Alternatively, you can get a shuttle to take you there.
I've been to this resort 3 times in the last 7 years ( every other year ) and have never had a problem with getting a shuttle. Regardless as to where I may be on the property, if I needed a shuttle I would simply text my butler and he would direct the closest shuttle to me to pick me up. The first thing my butler did on each one of my 3 visits was to get us hooked up via WhatsApp so that if I had any issue I could get a hold of him without having to physically find him.
Likely would have helped if someone at some point mentioned the beach while I was at the resort lol
Are the shuttles and buggies mentioned in the video the same thing? How long is the shuttle ride to the beach from TRS, and how long would it take to walk to same distance? And does everyone at TRS get a butler regardless of room? Thanks!

Nice amount of space. No sandy beach though?! Ummm 🤔 there are gorgeous beaches all over down there. Maroma is a nice one near there. All these resorts built on subpar beaches and lacking ocean view rooms…I don’t get it. Without those things, why be in Yucatán? Unless you’re a huge fan of the jungle? Thanks for showing the things they do have going for them….but it did not sound like a place you would return 🐙
Tbf, that's exactly why I chose this one. That bungalow with the creek/green view felt a bit unique so thought it would be a good contrast to 10 other ocean views lol.
@@tfft the Fairmont Mayakoba ones that are superior casitas have that natural clear turquoise lagoon…which is nice, and they are very private! 😉
