never have i ever seen a lobby with so many light tanks and ifv's. 90%of the lobbies i get are t55 variants
i know the feeling, once in a while ill get a light enemy team, but it's mostly T54s or T55s
there is actually a spot on all T series tanks that you can easily pen with the standard AP belts on the Gepard. Its the bottom of the side armor behind the road wheels its only 20mm on literally every single T series tank from the T54 to the T90M

Tbh I like the DCA better since it gets LRF + 150 APDS rounds (technically 300 but the reload is like 40 seconds) + full reverse gear. But it has no stab :(
It's fine at 8.7 if you already had the apds belt. If you didn't, then it's really painful since it faces 9.3 russia a lot.
@@schoolschoolschoolschoolsc6562 LRF with how you should be playing both the DCA and Gepard against ground units, is pretty useless 80% of the time. Gepard is fully stabilized with 10 degrees of gun depression. The stabs are 10x more useful than a LRF on these ambush playstyle SPAA. Plus the DM23 belts are full APDS, which is why you only get so many. The DCA belts are 1/4 APDS. DCA reload is also 50 seconds with Ace crew.... Gepard has better shell velocity and radar tracking making it much more effective at taking helis out at their missile range, which is usually out of range for the DCA. Yeah, the DCA is fine at 8.7, but thats not the point. The DCA and Gepard are damn near identical in combat capability, but Gaijin bumped just the DCA?? Makes literally no sense. The Gepard would be fine at 8.7 too by your logic.

They're kind of mediocre, 10.0 one has better ammo and thermals over the 9.3

Honestly the audio is just really bad in this game, if there are too many tanks/planes near you its often impossible to tell where or how far away they are
