THIS IS GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew how to do the reverse image using silicone mat but this blew my mind!!! Can't wait to try it!!! Just brilliant and I loved my stamperatas before but now love it tons more!!!!!
Hi, Connie! I don’t use this technique often but LOVE that I CAN do it! And LOVE that it can be done w/punches, too! Super helpful! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! This really makes cardmaking more versatile n’ fun! YAY! Enjoy your day! :-). SMILES from Madison, WI!
It’s also VERY NICE to have these “little TIP reminders” of techniques n’ possibilities! There is SO MUCH we’ve learned ....and have tucked away....that can often get “lost in the shuffle” of it all! Thank you again for “tweaking my memory”! :-))
Absolutely brilliant. I have been stamping for 25 years and the Stamparatus has changed how I stamp and this is another way to use it. I am eager to try it.
Thank you so much Connie! I've been trying to figure out mirror stamping forever. I did it! The type of silicone mat makes a difference. My die cut was perfect! Hugs from TX.
OMG, I can't believe I didn't think of this! LOL Thanks so much for sharing. Love your short tip videos. I almost forgot - on the solid stamped image that you thought was a little blotchy, just take a blender pen, pick up some of the ink color from the pad, then blend and smooth out the image. You can make it look almost watercolored, or more solid if you can be super careful to stay within the lines.
This is the first time where I've watched a video on mirror stamping that I understand:). I've always wanted to try but could never get it right. Thank for the simple tutorital.
Awesome! This just might be the tip of the year! You certainly are one awesome person to share so much with so many. Thank you once again seems so inadequate.
Awesome tip! I had held them up to the light before and put die on back of paper. A tip I saw when you die cut on reverse and you don't like the edges, you can run the diecut through your die machine without the die, adding a cardstock shim if needed, to flatten the edges. Just make sure you have good plates to do it.🙂
Great technique...my stamparatus will be in my BBB when it arrives soon...can not wait to try this technique...thank you Connie for sharing and love the video too...cheers from Australia :)
