Oh. My. Goodness. I am blown away. I just ordered a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and three embossing folders. I'm going to be embossing EVERYTHING! LOL. Thanks so much for explaining how the folders work and what to do with the pieces after they're embossed.

Great techniques. I love using embossing folders. I remember when we did embossing by hand with small brass stencils and a ball stylus. It’s a beautiful effect.

You fully explained the techniques as well as demonstrating them. I’m a sight person so watching it being done with the verbal dos and don’t have given me a much better understanding of how to do what I want to do. I have been collecting a lot of the items for ages but have been a little scared to actually use them. Now I feel more ready to just play and have fun with it. So thank you so much Connie. I always love your videos. Your creativity is the BEST! I’m having a hard time seeing the texture because the lighting is so good that it prevents shadows. When your hand blocks the light slightly I could see the awesome texture of the layered, embossed images. Your positive energy, your cheerfulness is what we all need especially right now. Thank you for doing these videos. ❤️
I don't use my embossing folders as often as I should. When I do use them I'm just blown away by the beauty and what it adds to my cards, my borders, or even to the look of matting around a photo. Thank you! Can't wait until the next video. 😊
Hi Connie- I collect emboss folders- I love how they look- even on textured paper & even as thank you notes..Just adds a polished look..and I can't wait to try your techniques. I have used the SU Macrame folder- as background with SU Plant DSPs ..and it looks fabulous.. Thanks for another great tutorial- what a great role model for all of us ladies who want to succeed. TY!

That was a great review - perhaps you could demonstrate inking techniques on folders to create a letterpress effect on the card stock. Another tip is to very lightly spray the card stock so the fibres expand which prevents card stock cracking or tearing in both the traditional and 3D folders. Thanks Connie - I enjoy all your videos.
I can't wait for Tuesdays for your 2 minute tips. I absolutely love each and every one. I am always looking for tips with embossing folders and I was very excited to see what you were going to come up with. The tips were excellent and I will certainly try them, however, unfortunately you really could not see the results on the white cardstock. Maybe using colored card may have been a better idea. I can't wait for next weeks episode. I still love you though Connie.
just a suggestion, the versamark embossed paper, you can just add more versamark ink to the blank spot, add your powder then heat it up. like I said, just a suggestion. BTW, I enjoyed your video!

That line on the embossing folders so that the paper is lined up straight in side the folder is genius.
I have used the versamark ink pad on the edges and reinked and embossed a second time and it looks okay, instead of cutting off the edges.
