    • @aoifeclifford6348
      @aoifeclifford6348  Před 3 lety +10

      Hey Megan! The work load is a lot more intense here than at home, lesson plans have to be very detailed and often you are making lesson plans from scratch which is very time consuming. In a lot of British curriculum schools, they don’t use text books so coming up with lesson ideas can be difficult at times. Reports here are also very lengthy - literally like I’ve never seen before!🙈 But that’s the reason you earn more more year I feel, the more you get paid in a school, the more that is required from you. 🖤

    Been offered a job in Dubai. 11000 Dubai currency. Worried about the housing costs to be honest. My recruiter has said I get a month free then I find my own place. There are a few red flags, such as it looks like I am employed directly by the recruiter ( salary too). However teaching opportunities are slow in Asia just now. I can live humbly for sure, don't drink or party and can teach privately. But I am concerned with housing and cost of living despite the salary ( taught in China for 5 years).
