@@stranger_747 Easy, don't make it look like you're coming to stay here. Make it look like you are genuinely traveling for tourism, and after, you will go back to your happy family in your home country. If you are failing, that means they have suspisions that you plan on overstaying your visa.

The opposite of this, brought my first rejection. I was precise, not giving enough information. Lack of clarity in my responses. Too negative in mind.

Hi Ben. I see you were an officer in Colombia. I wanted to share with you a very common issue a lot of pilots are having right now in Colombia. In order to apply for a job at any Colombian airline, a US tourist VISA is mandatory. This is because the hiring process is done in the US usually in Miami at the Airbus training center. I know a lot of colleagues that have applied for the visa told the officer about this situation and of course they rejected the visa. I have only met one pilot that got it approved after telling this to the officer. I wanted to ask, are visa officers aware of this? What advice can you give to a pilot that just got their license but can’t get a job because they don’t have a visa. Unfortunately airlines will not even bother to check your resume if you do not have a visa. It’s tricky because we need the visa to have a Job in Colombia, but we can’t get the visa because we don’t have a Job.

Had my interview today....I was denied...all I can say is....USA visa interview is all luck......the consular officer asked me just one question...which was who is ur sponsor which I replied correctly n truthfully still was denied....forget about the USA visa....it's all shambles.....try another country

First, as a state high school English teacher can I justify my purpose of travel telling the officer the following words: "I will go sightseeing, explore the American culture but most importantly know about their educational system for the improvement of my career as an English teacher once I get back home"?

of course it's possible! I'm guessing you're not from an ESTA country, so you'll need a tourist visa in any case when visiting the US. the consulate will be aware of this and it shouldn't be a problem since you have a good reason to go there.

it might just be a problem with the officer. I'd suggest making an appointment at a different consulate in India so you get to talk to someone different.

how did you obtain F1 status? If you were interviewed, you were asked about them - if you told the CO that they were going to remain behind, then they will...period. If you changed from B1/2 status, they will never get the F2 visas because you lied to either the CO or CPB or both....period.
