Today myself and my wife attended in Chennai, India. Wanted to visit our daughter who is in her sophomore year now. Like you said it was all from ds160 to check whether we are truth. Just 2 minutes and got approved and didn’t check any documents. As per your advice our answers were proactive and highlighted our strengths. Positive attitude and cordiality pays off. Thanks.

Unfortunately, there are still 19th century interviews in the internet century in U.S embassies! I wish you could learn how to qualify online from Canada. I was refused two months ago in less than 30 seconds in the interview at the U.S embassy in Armenia, even though I am a real tourist, having traveled to more than twenty countries and three continents.

Can you please guide me about the Dropbox visa process? I have been travelling with my friend’s family. The case was updated on the 15th of November.
My friend’s family members have been issued visa but my visa status says refused. I haven’t been reached out for further documentation.
I have been issued the US visa twice and have visited the States twice.
    Would really appreciate a response.

I want to avoid appearing disrespectful to the visa officer, as if my English were superior to their Spanish. Considering that I have a proficient level of English and an American accent, do you think it will make a difference if I choose to communicate in English or Spanish?

I'm from a third-world country. I state that I'm employed here as a programmer (and earn top 95%, as stated in the ds-160), they don't even look at any documents I brought except my old passport with a bunch of visas in it and refuse my B1. Twice. To me it feels that they know that any entry-level programmer job in the US will pay more than I earn here, so they just refuse outright without considering anything else.

Whatever you say man, although I was issued visa twice, I have seen, visa officers who are too young for the job, with no emotional intelligence on display, making these important decisions. Rejecting candidates after literally just 1 question, why do you want to go to USA. Its a degrading and funny situation at the embassy. These idiotics young visa officers should be trained on facts such as === Different people from different age group/profession may have different ways of communicating, its not the candidate but the visa officers who should be all ears and try to understand how the candidates are trying to communicate. A 65 years old man is not gonna try impress a 21 years old visa officer, by default, that 21 year old should respectfully try to understand the way the old person is trying to communicate, and the cultural background of the country the old man is from.

That's a good question for one of our former visa officers. You can book a consultation at www.argovisa.com.

Nowadays it's easier to get into USA illegally than legally. What a clown world.

I wish my fate was with you and I wish you were my visa officer
