Hello Michael and Cory. Great reaction, welcome to the world of Lovebites. The members: Asami (Vocals), Miho (Bass), Haruna (drums) who is a powerhouse, and the dynamic duo Midori (blond guitarist) and Miyako (black hair guitarist). They wear white dresses because they wanted to perform in different outfits instead of the traditional black. If you notice, they also play in high heels...even live they play in heels! You should really check out their live performances, they are unbelievable.

@@MichaelReactstoMusic There are two live versions of Swan Song online, both are the same song from the same show but the longer one (over 8 minutes) has an extended piano intro. If that one comes out of the hat, you should check that longer version out.
The stars are Harunas trademark! She used them in previous band, Destrose and brought them to Lovebites.

Awesome again!! I'm always get bites from every single song from Lovebites. So many song from Lovebites, and I love it all. They playing many genre to, thrash metal, power metal, heavy metal, even power ballads. This band always better in live performance. Thankyou so much for reaction. Hope Lovebites get many reaction.

Their Wiki page is worth reading and won't 'spoil' your future 'reactions' to their dozens of mind-blowing songs/performances. (now subscribed) btw, 'speechless' is not uncommon upon first listen, but ''LIVE'' is a whole new experience.

That was CRAZY.... you haven't seen or heard anything yet!!Try them LIVE to get the full experience of this insanely talent group of women, best power metal band playing today. The bassist Miho and the drummer Haruna came over from the great Destrose band and wanted a more European metal sound from their group. So take Iran Maiden mix in Judas Priest with some Dragon Force and bring it to a whole other level with English lyrics by a bluesy vocalist and you have LOVEBITES. The Zepp DiverCity 2020 concert is great or the 2019 Tokyo concert likewise is epic. They have only been playing together 3+ years and are getting better everyday. the 1st all female metal band from Japan to play at Wacken and Bloodstock in 2018.

The white dress is like their trademark. If i´m not wrong, was Miho´s idea (bass player) when with Haruna (drums) left Destrose to create a new band. The white dress are intend to create a visual gap between the music and their image.
Almost all the Lovebites songs have long guitar solos, also they have already 3 studio albums in the market and a live one. Also they have toured with Dragonforce sometimes
Plus they are so small wearing white on stage lets them be seen easier

Yes, they always wear white in their videos & live shows. They say part of that is to distinguish themselves from other bands & the other part is that they're all so short & white makes it easier to see them onstage (Miyako, the one with the black guitar, towers over the others at 5'2", while the drummer Haruna is a tiny beast at only 4'9")

Yeah guys you just sow the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band. Lovebites are the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment . They are formed in 2016 by Miho the bassist and Haruna the drummer in Tokyo. The other members are Asami the vocalist, Midori the lead guitarist and Miyako the other lead guitarist and pianist with the black hair. Their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. You have to check some songs from their last concert Five of kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo from this year like Thunder vengeance, Holly war, Rise some hell, Swan song, Dancing with the devil, Break the wall, Hammer of wrath. Enjoy it.

Welcome to the LoveBites Wolf Pack (Their mascot is a wolf, on the cover of all their albums)...once you're bitten you're forever changed. I was bitten in 2017 when their first music video was released called Don't Bite The Dust. I ran to ebay to get the CD from an importer, have done so with every album since )5 now in just 3 years). They are the best power metal band since Maiden and Priest. Every song gives that same reaction...OMFG...lol

don't let your dad get the upper hand with the classic rock. there are enough awesome bands out of japan to keep you busy with some of the best new music you have ever heard. in particular the girl groups and you are getting in on the ground floor with LOVEBITES.actually the top floor cuz they are truly one of a kind. live they are at their best and there are a lot of live videos to react to -any song will melt you.BAND MAID is the other band to pay close attention to. hard rock at it's best

When they play like they do, they wear whatever they want. And I'm shocked that in 2020 you're shocked that five talented women who have been playing instruments since they were small children can rock harder than many all-male bands. Japanese education mandates that learning a musical instrument is compulsory. It should be a common policy. It not only teaches fine motor skills, but also concentrates the mind. They have earned their reputation. They are respected by their peers and the music industry. Just because they don't wear the usual "Metal uniform", it doesn't mean they aren't a legitimate Metal band. You don't get to support DragonForce on tour if you're no match for them. 🤦

it's more impressive to check those solos and dual solos LIVE !
They wear those white outfits all the time. One reason given is that they are so small they want to be seen. There is another all-female power metal band Aldious who wear evening gowns or party dresses, so they look like they work at a Japanese hostess club. Sort of like Band-Maid and the maid cafe look. The band name comes from the Halestom song, "Love Bites (So Do I)". Asami, the Lovebites lead singer has gotten to sing that song with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm. When you see Asami next to Lzzy and the rest of Halestorm, yeah, she is kind of small. They are going for a European metal sound.

Lovebites is (mostly) a power metal band but they have influences from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Slayer, Dragon Force, Gary Moore, Whitesnake, etc., and they’re developing their own style. Obviously I recommend their live performances; they really shine live, especially their latest concert earlier this year “Zepp Divercity, Tokyo 2020”. Other recommended live performances are “Daughters of the dawn”, “Battle in the east”, “Wacken”. Avoid “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). My song suggestions: “When destinies align” (live), “Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Break the wall”, “Rising”, “Signs of deliverance”, “Swan song” (with classical piano), “Scream for me”, “Raise some hell”, and a special mention to “Thunder vengeance” (mind blowing), “Dancing with the devil” (classic rock and bluesy vocals), “Empty daydream” (nice piano and vocals with catchy mid tempo), “Epilogue” (epic power ballad, great vocals, nice piano, scorching old school guitar solos) and “Edge of the world” (epic power ballad, nice vocals, nice guitar solos and song build up)

LOVEBITES!!! I figured you were gonna get a shitload of requests for them so I picked other music instead. I like the musicianship of Lovebites but the singing becomes monotonous at times, (Just my opinion guys, don't get mad) and every song sounds similar. They are not on my top 10 but they are impressive musicians nonetheless. Although I will admit to having a HUGE crush 🥰 on Miyako (the Dean Player) She plays exclusively on Dean guitars, as do I, and just came out with her own signature Dean Flying V.
I liken them to a female version of Iron Maiden.
And yes, this is their stage "uniforms". They dress like this on stage.

It's time to let go of the stereotypical heavy metal clothing of chains and leather and studs and nasty looking guys, it's time that looks no longer matter but the art of good music played with professionalism and heavy metal class that matters. Those ladies are sooooooooooooo fucking heavy power metal..they just amazing and so good to listen at.
