This just a general type of guide to help out people who are struggling. Hopefully one of these strategies will be useful to you and help you beat some harder challenges or make things easier. I recommend being level 99 and being in NG+ before attempting this.
A new rankings/tier list video is in the works. It will be a long time before it's finished but trust me when i say it's gonna be way better than my old one. lots of great players are working on it with me and we'll have nice info graphics and footage for each blade.

I actually used the evasion strategy to beat ken, carlos and kurodiil though i did buff morag's agility to 592 and they all took about 40 minutes.

The Omega Drive Fiora is honestly one of my favorite strategies, it helped me speed through Dagmara farming without having S+ trust blades
Thank you so much for this video. I just got the season pass and have been trying to finish shulk and fiora's affinity when I came to a hurdle regarding Carlos, Kurodil, and Rosa. Sad to say this showed me some mechanics I didn't fully understand or get at all but now I do (Fiora is ridiculously broken). Now to poppibuster's overkills.
I might switch to the full burst strategy. Going full DPS with no chain attacks is fun and all. But I like being able to see all of those special animations. Plus, challenge mode nerfed Sheba's damage output, by not letting any money drop, which I would not need to worry about with a Full Burst.
Okay, I started playing this game a few months back in preparation for XC1DE coming out this weekend, and thanks to your tips, I was finally able to beat up Carlos and complete Fiora's chart. Such a relief... Now I don't need to bother with Carlos ever again.
Do you remember which strategy worked best for him (since that's the one I'm currently working on)?
@@pokedude720 good question. I haven't even started challenge mode yet, but I plan to go in with all blades, full affinity charts, best core chips, great aux cores, awesome pouch items, etc. I'm hoping that poppi qt pi, mythra, corvin, and kos-mos can carry me.

I thought challenge mode wasn’t going to be hard because I beat dino drama on my second attempt without new game plus but then I tried to do the others and I am this close to starting ng+ because of carlos and malos
Mallos Jin mission cheesy as fk on boc but on normal the whole game is easy so shouldn't be much trouble if you have a decent set up
Damage over time?!? I’m nearly 200 hours into this game and I didn’t know this existed. What is it and how does it work?
Certain blade combos apply damage over time effects. That's essentially it lol. Volcano is the example I used in this video. it's DoT is 10% of the total damage dealt, and smashing can increase the effect and damage of the DoT

I got Elma in Alrest before ng+ the fight took me 40 minutes because I had terrible damage output lol
actually makes sense cause i always been wondering like what do you do without a hearler, simply just avoid being hit
You can actually beat the Orion challenge pretty easy with a Burst symbol and Chain attack Build.You just need one orb, max affinity on your blades and max chain meter. It's really easy to get an Light or Dark orb really quickly with Mythra or T-ELOS for example.

You can do this on your first play though and with only 2 accessories. You can unlock Shulk and Fiora from doing a easy versions of the challenge missions. So you can enjoy these blades the entire time on your NG+ play though.

I don’t want to do NG+ until the new difficulty comes out and I don’t want to bar myself from challenge mode just because I don’t have 3 accessories. Just want to let people know that you can still enjoy the content and get all the reward without having to go through the game twice. Useful for people who pick up the game post-dlc.
Can confirm that it is possible to do it before New Game plus. Hell, I managed to do it on Normal but the Gogol mission took me 30+ minutes because I was doing it without provoking elemental awakening.

yeah sorry about volume being kinda low, can't really make my mic louder so have to lower my game audio to compensate.
That's a shame. It's terrifying when I get an IM because the notification sound is SO loud. lol

Do the accuracy and evasion buffs from Mythra and Shulk only apply when they are selected and in battle, or do they stack together as long as they are in your current three blade setup

Hey I know this video is old but why use T-elos on Morag instead of Rex? Doesn't Rex have higher base strength so he would be better?

I think I might have a Rarity 4 Common Fire Axe Blade with Orb Master, could I use that to spam the shoulder tackle or whatever's the crit recharge one to build up my specials and then just keep on doing Fire-Fire-Fire Elemental combos to get orbs? Is that how the skill works?
Each part of the combo needs to be a different element. Orb master just sets the orb from the element of the special used.
Huh, I had no idea that Fusion Combos had such high DOT
I guess Crystal Earrings are kinda useless considering the alternatives, huh? (At least when Fiora is with you.)
Imagine if they added a Rare Blade with Orb Master

Probably not as important as they aren't that powerful.
One thing I would like to know is what gear (accessories, aux, etc) for theses strategies. I may have missed it in the video though, is so could tell me where it's mentionned?
most of them you get from doing challenge mode itself but crimson headbands and noise dampeners are good standard ones.
New comment on a 3 year old video, but when talking about blades for an Evasion team, you mention Praxis. Unless it's an added bonus she gets that isn't mentioned in game (nor your Praxis guide) she doesn't get any evasion buffs at max affinity. Other than active evasion arts on Patrika and Roc, I don't think there are any evasion focused Attack blades (unless you meant to mention Patroka rather than Praxis).
Yeah likely misspoke. Praxis has no evasion but she does have accuracy.
Do you have a good none ng+ setup for the heropon challenge?
Pretty much any Qtpi setup you saw in the video will work well. She should destroy everything there.

you should do a speed run of the last challenge where you can only play as tora, but without using QTpi, only QT and alpha
CodeCraft 587 Alpha makes Tora almost immortal, so as long as he can do enough dps that he doesn't run done the clock it would be a pretty simple task.

essentially using some blade combos like volcano apply a DoT effect (the orange number). You can increase this effect by smashing the enemy. The effect will last as long as you remain on the same level of the blade combo.
I want to do this, but I just don't have the time to beat the game second time. Shame there's no guide for non-NG+ runs.

Yeah, it's slower than letting it die but easily doable with defense annul characters

Xirc I don't think you can kill it. What I did was use Mythra to get me specials up then switch to pyra to get a Fire orb. Fire orbs prevent self destruction so after I do that I just wait for the next wave. Once the next wave is up he'll self destruct but it won't kill you because you made a fire orb.
Oh yeah, i managed to beat that no problem my comment was directed as a challenge since he asked for ideas albeit it was a silly challenge =p
Challenge mode has been whipping my dick in a fucking circle mang. This sort of technical explanation really helps me out. I'm at the awkward point where I can kill all the normal raid bosses but can't DESTROY THEM. I guess its time to analyze this.
So... I haven’t started NG+ yet as I was waiting for the hard mode to start it. Ive beaten all of them except Ken and The titan dude. Kens stupid reinforcements keep getting me and same goes for the titan. It’s hard with only 2 item slots cause I can’t crit heal + Extra crit damage + Burst Symbol. Also my poppi QT pie as I’ve hardly invested into her and I don’t have a master scope. Think I’ll either try the Fiora strat or the master orb strat
The Elephant One tip for Ken: Keep a dark orb on him. It seals reinforcements.
There is a hard mode, it's built into the game files.
Enel figured it out. Just used Fiora and spammed chain attack, had to use a night vision VI that was the secret. Ken took like 15 minutes tho
Midna78 there has been a confirmed hard mode under the title of "Bringer of Chaos"
If your still struggeling with the titan, heres what I did to beat him pretty easily (when you have good RNG) in Ng on normal mode: The main thing I focused on was to get 4 orbs on him as soon as possible to enter full burst.
I used:
Rex - with an Orb master water blade, Fiora and Mythra
Zeke - with KosMos, Herald and Pandoria
Tora - Poppi α (earth), qt (fire) and qtπ (ice) (my Poppi builds were basicly the same as from Enels guide)
The acessoires I used on all of them were Burst Symbol and AGM
The Aux Cores I used were the standard attack ups
So what you have to do is to build up max affinity with Mythra and Fiora in the first wave and right before you kill the last enemy switch to your Orb Master blade.
Then when you Fight the Titan stack up 3 Orbs as soon as you can and go into Pneuma form imidietly afterwards to abuse the fact that Rex cant die to stack up a light orb with her and KosMos

God screw this why do I have to grind all this stupid shit just to have a chance in these broken challenges? Just makes this game really tedious and shows how little Monolith actually cared about balancing this game.
I can't even hear your voice because of the way the sound is mixed in this vid. It's like you are standing in the middle of the road, talking to us on the other side of the street, while traffic comes from all sides. Then, after 7 minutes of gameplay, instead of explaining it more in detail by SHOWING us (which you might think is the point in a vid) you skip around everything in 30 secs instead of doing a short summary. I get it that for you it is "nothing out of the ordinary", but as someone looking for decent builds, I would have prefered it being written down or highlightet with pro and cons, especially because of the lack of being able to hear you. Sadly, most of your other vids have sound probs as well. I don't expect you to get a 150$ mic, but at least do some audio processing so we can understand what you are actually trying to tell us.
I literally show exactly how to do s during the fiora part and have buildes for all of these at the end of each section, (except the pure tank one because I forgot so my apologies.)
As far as audio, That's as loud as my mic will go. I already lower the game volume to compensate. The actual microphone is good, it's louder on my laptop and even sounds better. It's probably got something to do with the sound card for my CPU. The only alternative I can think of is exporting all my created video files there and commentating over it.
Having a summary screen for each build and a clear structure would help. I mean, showing how s work is all nice and good, but you should stop the playback of the Background at important scenes and maybe point at some specific areas on it to show it better. Also, s is more of a general strategy, which may be better off being put at the end of the vid instead of having it exactly in the middle of it. Sometimes showing a still image and writing and commenting over it is the best way to visualize things.
And if this is the max your microphone can do, why did you not mute the gameplay vid? That would have helped in understanding you even with low volume.
Glad bringer of chaos gets rid of the obviously cheesy, pretty braindead strategies anybody can do
