Up until that point, we were on a downward trend and eventually trading sideways, like we're seeing now. There is no such thing as a pure breed pitbull, as the term is a general one used for mix breed terriers mostly of the Amstaff gene. Please provide a link to this extremely false list, as I'd love to provide this "association" with some correct information.
@@D-Rock420 Lol. Triggered. I think you know as well as everyone else does that Rottweilers are near the top of the list for dangerous bite risk. (But of course *your* dogs are not dangerous.) And feel free to contact the American Animal Hospital Association - be sure to let us know how it goes. Smooches!
@@commentsboardreferee7434 Well, duh. People are neglectful with animals and sadly most people don't deserve pets because of it. Many people throw dogs in the backyard, in pens, or chain them up because they "want" a dog, but not really. It means you're not socializing them, training them, or bonding with them properly. And while that is terrible regardless of the breed, different breeds are bred for different things and so instinctively respond differently to neglect and abuse.
For example, if you chain a golden retriever up, beat it, and never spend time with it, it's more likely to be shy around people but still be friendly or cower around humans (in fact, golden retrievers are bred to specifically be "gentle" in order to retrieve for hunters--which is why a goldie has a higher chance of abandoning you in terror if you're being robbed and attacked. It's not it's fault. Gentleness is how the breed is designed). Thus, they have no reputation of biting despite the fact that many are probably abused just as much as any other breed. But if you do that to a dog like a Rottweiler (or any assertive breed designed for livestock or human protection), they're more likely to get mean and bite someone (and even then, not typically their own masters unless they are being physically abused)--and thus the reputation. (That being said, every dog is different, and some rotties may cower, just as some goldies may also bite).
So, yeah. A stray, neglected and/or abused Rottweiler does have a higher instance of biting people. The solution? Don't beat your dog, make sure to train it to obey basic dog commands, socialize it, and love it as a pet (like a normal person should), and you're fine. On the other hand, if you just want a dog to look tough or decorate your yard when you're tired of it and never bother to train it--------yeah, don't get a Rottweiler. Or a dog. Or a pet, for that matter.
Love that Zara uses her tongue to get the food from the baby. She just knows she has the smallest âpawsâ đâ€

excuse me? i was never allowed to have a dog as a child. im still nothing near a sociopath hellooooooooooo?!
I used to dog sit for my friend. I had to keep the old feeble one away from the others because they would snarl and attack her. I had to feed them in the right sequence and spaced far apart because the big one would steal from the others after she gobbled hers up. I bet that dog would snarl if that child approached it while eating, I bet sheâd try to take food away from the child if there was no one to stop her. Dogs donât have compassion, it is a foreign concept to them.
@@sodapopjones260 WRONG, I had a Staffy who lived until she was 19. She was brought up with my nephew from when he was one year old. She never once stole food from him, and always waited her turn for snacks. It depends on the personality of the dog. If you have an alpha this will happen as the alpha demands important privileges such as the right to feast first. Most domestic dogs are not alphas. Most domestic dogs are less dominant and will act submissively towards its humans. This dog is displaying typical less submissive traits. There are exceptions of course, but by and large this usually happens only in the wild and with rescued strays. It is obvious that this child is being supervised so just chill and enjoy the video for what it is.
