    Steve all those tools on your work bench gave me a flashback that I was in the electronic section of Radio Shack. The good ol' days.

    Good day eh!!! Inverters are some handy to have but a lot of people don't even think of the idle current. But like you say, the idle current can be a deal breaker sometimes. It sure is nice to go to your place, turn on the inverter and not worry about what loads you put on it or if it will kill your batteries through the night. Peace of mind is a valuable commodity!! This invertor looks like it'll provide the current and peace of mind you are looking for. Thanks for the review and for posting. Take 'er easy!!

    I once had a ‘ghetto blaster’ bought from Canadian Tire when I was a teenager that had the cassette door come off and they sent it away to be fixed and it took 3 months…ugh. The warranty on this unit prevents that nonsense and you need this equipment working without issue. Thanks Steve

      I'm not a CT fan at all , it's turned into a wingwang dollar store but I'll give this one a try because a real good inverter was priced 6 times this price .

    Excellent review. I have a Samlex 3000w psw for 4 yrs and like you, it just quit. It's $2000 to replace here in Canada. So I just bought the 4000w Eliminator msw and am installing it this week. Wish me luck! $600.

      @SteveRobReviews  Před 2 lety

      I think you will be as impressed as I am with the ellimator. It's very quiet , the illuminated wired remote switch operates great and the voltage regulation is spot on. My 5cf fridge operates off it , no problems at all.

    Great way to test the invertor operation. That will really make all the difference on battery life at your camp. My old Boss used to say Trust but Verify

    • @SteveRobReviews

    Wil be setting this up in my basement with 2 batteries in parallel for back up power for my sump pump. This as a ground connection. Does it need to be grounded ? And if so how do I ground it inside my home ?

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  Před 10 měsíci

      I don't use an external ground. Never use your house ground . I have never experienced a fault by not grounding the inverter.

    Thant looks like a very good inverter Steve and the draw is not that much.....things are changing in electronics and they are getting a lot better with time.....probably made in WingWNg but as long as iit works really well.....who cares? I like it.....CHEERS

    Hi Steve we have a 1100W Power Inverter and my wife wants to power her electric deep fryer. It says 1800W on the label. Will this even work?

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Absolutely not !!!! You need a inverter that has a dedicated outlet like in todays video that will provide 1800w constantly.

  • @jaiminsonu
    @jaiminsonu Před 2 lety +1

    So if it says 4000 watt which means if I run a PC which use 200 watts so does that mean a PC can run 20 hours on this fully charged inverter ?

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  Před 2 lety +1

      The inverter needs to run off a battery so sizing will be from your batteries not the Capability of the inverter.

  • @kenshowalter4746

    It would have been nice to see if you tested the output power draw to see if it did produce the 4000 watts.

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  Před 2 lety

      Ken there is not 2 items I could ever plug into it to test the maximum 4000w . Ken I did think about it but I just don't have anything 120v that draws that much. The most I have tried was my table saw at 12amps and it ran fine .

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  Před rokem

      I suspect it has a ground monitoring circuit that looks for a ground before its able to turn on like many digital furnaces. Lots of inverters and gensets won't run many items with ground detecting circuits.
