You can also flip your phone twice to open the camera, mine is set to open factory camera when locked and Snapchat when unlocked
The split screen can also be activated by swiping from one side of the screen to the other side and back. Also the dark mode can be activated through a toggle.

So I have this phone I bought it a few days ago for a upgrade anyway why doesn't the phone alert you when it's fully charged like other phones do ? I haven't figure out if Motorola didn't add this feature for the phone or if it's hidden somewhere within the phone. I need help.

On google hit the 3 dots (settings )on the right upper corner, hit the add to home screen option.

Why can't I always see the date up top (like Samsung displays did for me) of my Moto G Stylus. I hate having to swipe or go to home screen to see the date.
You didn't mention anything about the symbols on rt side of screen when turning volume up and down. What do they mean?
The bell is just letting you know that you are able to adjust the volume Up or Down now while pressing the volume rocker and you can see the display.
The 3 dots are pressed to get to volume settings, so you can customize volume on your phone for all you preferred volume.
I have a moto e5+ that had a problem with the phone getting hot to the point that the battery swelled up and the phone csmecapart does this phone get hot as well?

Banging my head on the walls for 2 days now ... is there an easy way to copy or save your contacts from your latest gen of Moto G phones (Power, Play, Stylus, etc) to the SIM card? The only way to back them up seems to be as a vcf file đ ... on other Android phones there is a straight way to backup your contacts to the SIM card đ

My wife has the 2022 moto G stylus and it's been stuck w a green rectangle around anything she touches. Have tried resetting several times, it goes right back to a screen with the green box, so it's at the dead android screen now. Shows up, down, and START buttons. What can we do?
This phone has gone into voice control/screen lock twice. I don't know how it happens or how to turn it off. Verizon tech fixed it last time and wouldn't show me how. What a pain
I see a lot of questions are from people who apparently just pull the phone out of the box without taking time to read the manual.đ€Šđœ You can get more in depth manuals free to download on the internet. I have gotten one for every cellphone I've aquired. The downloadables offer more information than what comes with most cellphones. I'm also not afraid to go into the Settings, Permissions and see what's what.

I have the moto G stylus 2021 and that is NOT how the 4k video settings are. I had to do something completely different to change to 4k.

You can have CZcams open without the split screen. It'll be smaller, but still.
Can I put a swipe / Tap to open on the lock screen
Turn off the security settings like Fingerprint reader, pattern, pin, password then you should be able to just swipe to open. I prefer the fingerprint reader because to me it's faster and more secure. All I do is touch the reader as I'm picking up the phone and it's open before I start to look at it.

The speakers are amazing on this phone. I'm watching throttle house while drunk and my god is it perfect there's speakers at both ends and they the same loudness no matter how high you turn it up. This is an amazing phone when your high or drunk or sober it's great. But seriously stoners and drinks get this phone you won't be disappointed

I use an app called mobizen it's pretty good for screen record in games and doesn't lag the device at all and if you want a clean recording you can even turn on clean mode âșïž

Of what you screen shot? Give it a couple of seconds and it will disappear. This just gives you a chance to edit before saving or you can share it first.
I have a message/alert that keeps coming up over everything, including my games. It says, "Please grant mandatory permissions for better experience". I don't know which are mandatory and I want to stop this from showing up, regardless! I have already gone to Settings and turned off ALL Notifications.

How do you make wifi calling appear? It's not on the options.
When you get the phone there is a notification that says enable wifi calling or something like that
Open Phone app > 3 buttons at top right > Settings > Calls > Wi-Fi Calling.
