About 40 years ago a friend of mine created a variation of table tennis where a empty pop can was placed on the table centerline one paddle length from the end. It created wild deflections that really improved a players reflexes. Also, if you knocked over your opponents can you won the game outright. IIRC knocking your own can over lost you the game.
He called the variant "pivous-whiss".
It was hilarious to play.

POV: They actually have no idea how to play ping pong, just made a million tries and included only the lucky ones
Even though most of these obviously took many takes, it’s still very impressive.
The hardest part of becoming this good is to find other people equally as passionate about something and that you get along with..

In my opinion I think level 10 should be a bit higher, making the ball float telepathically is a very hard skill to learn, and also then hitting it as well.

Performing tricks that likely took many takes is not the same as winning tornaments. It`s similar to these kids with insane football skills that can destroy everyone at their local football club, but when they try it against pros, the tricks don`t work. Not that I am taking anything away from these guys, and their dedication!

Well it's not defying anything. It's fully based on the way you spin the ping pong ball. You can even try it at home by taking a ping pong ball, spinning it backwards while throwing it forwards a bit. It will bounce back to you and if you leave it on it's own, it will even follow a zig Zag route on the floor with each bounce.
