Canon eos R6 - My Thoughts

- After using the R6 as one of my main cameras alongside my R5 and R the past years, I decided to share my thoughts about this camera with you all in case it might help! This camera has always been very reliable and deliver great results every time. With the price dramatically decreasing since the mark II is out, this camera is ever more attractive to consider. I hope that you can gain something from this video! :-)

Such a great video, makes me realize how great and wonderful my r6 is and I don't need to upgrade also I don't do videos. Would you upgrade to the r5mk2 when it comes out? What's lacking on your r6 and r5 photo wise?

Hello David 👋🏼 is this camera will be good for pet photography? I have an old Canon 550D and I’m not professional, still learning. I would like to do upgrade and switch to mirrorless I was thinking about 90D but it’s kind of heavy + it’s not full frame. Is it a really big difference between R6 mark II and R6? I’m also limited in my budget and at the same time I understand that I’m still learning photography. Please let me know your opinion, is R6 will be a good camera for me and what lens do you recommend for pet photography? thank you.

wanted to like it but I can't behind having a canon camera without a top display.
If you're in manual mode, the screen and EVF tell you all settings. If you add a cage and an inexpensive monitor like a Feelworld F6, you can have your LCD screen. I've used the EOS R and the R5 and HATED the LCD screen and the top setting control dial with the button - it's too convoluted and I want something I can switch the dials and be in the mode without the need to navigate another menu and press more buttons.
Truly I loved the R6. I was its biggest fan. And then the R6MKII came out. I was pissed at how fast they "upgraded" it and then when they only made the new one 24mp I was so turned off. I was already on the fence about the megapixel but from only 20mp to 24mp it really made me switch to Sony A7 IV simply because my 5DMKIV was 30mp as well as my EOSR and noting. It was a deal breaker for me and I have gone to Sony and have liked it so far. Still I wish I could have afford to use a Sony camera and keep my R6.
How’s the LCD screen on the a7iv? Also it’s rectangular and very sharp edges.
@@lewcehjitl3282 same as the R6. In fact I am half sure Sony makes them for Canon.
