When Spencer was doing the final turns hooking up the hot and cold water under the sink, I could hear whistles and whoops and hollers of celebration ALL OVER THE WORLD! CZcams is truly a crazy thing. And you guys are such a happy part of its history! I’m so happy for the four of you!

It's amazing how much we've taken for granted as they've struggled without over the last 3 years. To see Kenzie break down from the realization of almost obtaining what was once an everyday thing, was a real heart felt reality check. I know my breaking point will be when they are done and there's no weekly video. For the last three years I feel like I've been right there with them struggling to figure things out and make it work.
I first started watching this channel when you were putting the containers on the concrete posts and I don't think I have missed a video since. I have really enjoyed watching this series because it reminded me of when my wife and I built our house. I can relate to the relief you feel at reaching the point you are at now. Congrats on your new home, it has truly been a labor of love.

It's a rite of passage for all babies to get bathed in the sink and she's long overdue! Seriously y'all are making such a nice, cozy, beautiful, safe and environmentally friendly home for yourselves!

I'm waiting for their shower to get done too. I wouldn't want to go outside in the dark😦 Especially with coyotes, wild pigs & snakes. Poor girl.

I'm 67 yo and have been living with COPD for 6 years now. I live alone and am still self-sufficient, despite being on low level oxygen therapy for the past year due to a very serious lung infection which had me hospitalized for quite some time.
Since then, whenever I'm on the verge of saying "I can't", when something needs to be done, I think of Spencer and Kenzie and all the speed bumps and obstacles they've encountered and find myself saying..." I'll try ...AND I WILL, no matter how long it takes me"

I stumbled on to your channel when I was doing research into Solar panels and Solar systems. First video I saw was you installing the Tesla Batteries shortly after you posted it. I Subbed then. I went back and watched all the videos before it to catch up and looked forward to every single video since. Such a great milestone and I was grinning ear to ear when Spencer was filling the water bottle with water from the fridge. When the stove was installed and you filled the pot and put it on the stove, I started crying. 41 year old manly me, bawled like a baby. Congrats you guys. You still have so much to go but omg look where you are and where you came from. This is awesome, and I feel as if I have been on that journey as well. Thank you for bringing me along. I await the next video like a kid at Christmas.

Yeah I found them the same way how ever I didn't get to do the solar setup. Ended up selling my small house and yard (after complete remodel) and buying bigger yard and house. House needed complete in and outer redo. I'm glad I waited cause I love the jack system to are doing now. And it's legal to do rain water collection here so bonus. Thanks guys weird how the little common things are such a big deal when you don't have them for a long time...👍👍👍

As someone who grew up and still living in concrete apartments in the hood, that sink made me say WOW out loud. That whole sink deal would make my life easier. Just like a good pan and knife makes preparing food easier.
Congratulations! Cooking that first dinner in your fully equipped brand new kitchen is going to be unbelievably great! A real stove, a real refrigerator, counter tops a sink! Only someone who hasn't had these things for years can truly appreciate this.

You need a splashback panel behind every sink and tap otherwise in time the droplets and larger water splash is going to penetrate through the paint job and into the dry wall panel. There are easy installable panels at stores, and does not need much work. Some are even see through and some can probably be done to a design you like via printing. Its similar to the shower wall panels.
It is their house and home. Let them decide what they 'NEED'. It might be a good idea to put back splashes, but they are not needed. I have lived in homes without them, and there was no problem. We just had to be more careful (take responsibility for our actions) and be neater in the kitchen.

It’s been a privilege watching your journey! The kitchen is beautiful! I felt emotional, too, at seeing it completed. You built a home, you two. And it’s been awesome to see glimpses of it all.
If you have so many filters in your house, then the computer board in your fridge that manages your fridge filter may think your fridge filter is full and keep telling you that your fridge filter needs to be replaced. If this happens, get a filter by-pass plug for your fridge. It will 'fool' the computer board into thinking there's a filter in there that is always perfectly fine. The filter issue is caused because so much filtration reduces the water pressure, and that's what the board is measuring - the amount of water pressure going through your fridge.
Is anyone else now trying to say FRIDGE FILTER 10 times really fast?
