Thanks for your help! Starting to pull the engine on our 900 this weekend , needs rebuild
Thanks for your time and effort! Hope to see more of your story soon!
No problem. Thanks for watching. Hopefully be working on putting the new engine in soon.
I'm definitely going out the top with out pulling the transmition.
Looks very easy to remove. Can't wait to see the new engine installed and running! 👍
Hopefully be doing that soon
been waiting for the part 2 and if you finished putting t he new motor in would you do it again? (how much of a pain in the ass was it?)
did you make a part two to this video??
Never made a part 2. But did get it going
nice job
Thanks
I'm going to be doing the same thing to mine soon. So thanks for the vid
Awesome thanks for watching. Hopefully I’ll be putting in the new engine soon. Just haven’t had the time.
I have a Kubota 900 RTV AND NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE U JOINTS
Original transmission by chance? Curious how everything else has held up! I’m up in bowling green KY exactly 1hr north of Nashville. Just bought a old 06 model 1600hrs
Yes still original transmission. Been to bowling green many times for NMRA. I’m in Indiana just west of Louisville.
Great video. How long did it take you to get the engine out?
Maybe 2 hours
I have the same UTV with a bad engine. How do you know which engines from lawn mowers or other things will fit. I was told that refer units on trailers used this engine also. Thanks in advance!
not exactly sure. Im still learning as i go. The New engine i got i have to switch a lot of parts over from the old engine. Like front cover, oil pan, etc.
Your engine will have some identification numbers on it somewhere. Mine has it on a sticker on the valve cover. I may be elsewhere on the engine. Just make sure you get an engine that matches that code, or maybe lookup which models are compatible with the same mounting locations as the one you have, and get a better engine that mounts in same brackets.
If you take the accessories it should give some room
Where part2 sir
Willing to part away with your old engine
Did I miss part 2 ?
Haven’t missed it yet. I’m just now getting around to work on it again. Just ordered some gaskets yesterday so I should be making next video this week
Did you get motor in ?
Yes last week. Going to make a video on it soon. Didn’t get any video of putting it back in because it just went in like it came out. But going to have some info on what I had to change on the new motor.
