I love the simplicity of that injection system, doomsday-proof 🔥

Excellent video. One of the best on CZcams for this type of engine. Thank you. I have a three cylinder Marine. I'm doing shortly. Atomic Universal

I’m commenting on your latest video to get your attention. I’ve been working on my bobcat for too long to admit and I can’t anymore. Almost big money shop time. it is a 2004 T 300. I got the hydraulic pump rebuilt it is installed and I have replaced most everything that needed to be replaced in this process. Why does it turn left when I try to go right with my JSC. It will not go into the other dual joystick zero turn type control. If you could just give me a list of possibilities I would very much love to dive into any and all of them if we haven’t already eliminated them by process of elimination. Keeping it simple we have done a lot of process of elimination and you seem like you have knowledge. as we have been searching videos of yours and others and I cannot find anything and it’s probably simple. we have something mixed up. I really don’t want to take it to a shop and we’ve accomplished so much I don’t want to do that unless absolutely necessary. Hah Trees Above Lawns Below MI. Backwards and forwards works. Help!

Hi. Thank you for the video. Where do you recommend buying an overhaul engine kit? What brand and place? Also, where i can buy a good head or rebuild kit for my head. It needs new valves, seals, and guides.

Hey man, great videos. Would you consider a Bobcat model overview video, with pros and cons, for people looking to buy a decent machine? Thanks.

Put some string thru the spring with long tails. after you get it hook in pull one tail to remove the string. 🧐🤓

A good video would be what needs to be done to a refer engine before you put it in a bobcat. Is there any thing else that needs to be done to the gov. How about the oil pickup and pan. Where are the engine numbers on the block? The refer engine is still installed in the trailer. I would like to know what engine it is. Before I pull it. 🧐Will a 2203 work to replace a V1702 🤓

I bought a used v2203 of unknown origin (best guess is a generator) off eBay to put in my 751C to replace the Peugeot motor that was seized. I got lucky and the oil pan on the motor i got actually fit the bobcat, my understanding is that the ones from reefers need swapped out.
As to how hard it is to swap things over it's hard to say and would depend on the machine. If it came with a V2203 or other Kubota of that family it would probably be really simple, for my 751 not so much. I found some writeups online but some of the part numbers ended up being wrong for my application. The 751/753 and others use the v2203 from the factory depending on the year so in the end I spent a lot of time pouring over diagrams on Bobcat's website to figure out what I needed for the conversion.

Hey! As an other commenter, I also want to comment on yoir latest video. I have a 310 bobcat. Pretty old one. We changed hydraulic pump, coz the old one was slow. Asi watched videos on youtube there are 2 types of this machine 1 have oil filter between tank and pump, and the other ( what i have) filter on the return line from control valve. Imo its a pretty bad setup..... so my problem is, after installing the new pump at the first 10-15 seconds it pumps and i can lift the arm. After that it starts to shake and powerless, and wont lift the arm anymore. Also disconnected the pump to control valve hose, and first its got oil flow later not. What i think is, there is a breather cap somewhere on the tank that is clogged and it starts to suck vacuum from the tank. Any idea what can cause the problem? Also oil is new, pump inlet line is free, i pushed air into it backwards. Thanks, David

Hi, I have a v2203 out of a bobcat 773. I recently rebuilt the motor and on the first start up the motor pushes black and won't shut off I have to air kill it. I talked to a mechanic and he recommended changing the injectors. I did that and no luck still doing the same.
How do you test one of these injection pump?
I also checked the fuel pump timming.

I'm looking for some help with a D1005 engine that won't start. Fitted a new injector pump, replaced all fuel hoses,no air in the system and a constant flow of black smoke out the exhaust. It is so close to starting you think it would. The was turn off one afternoon at end off shift and want start again. Injectors were tested to.
Does this model have a start spring?
If you have any ideas it would be appreciated on why it will not start.
    Thanks

What’s you opinion on composite vs metal head gasket?

    • @tetradgroup
      @tetradgroup  Před 2 měsíci +3

Composite is more forgiving, in this situation where I decked the block and head I could have used metal. We have had metal head gaskets leak coolant unless we torque the head over spec on engines that have run hot even with new heads.

Thank for the info sir. My head had some cracks, which I believe that was putting pressure in my coolant system, is there anything else that could have caused that?
