Continuous beep sound in kent grand plus RO is the alarm for filter change. But irony is that recently i have change all the filters. link is: • how to change all filt... Actually the choke or ballast inside the machine is programmed in such a way that after 700 hours of use it starts beeping. It does not give the exact condition of your filters. A small push button switch is present inside the ballast for reset. After giving power to machine press this switch until the continuous beep sound stops.

Only one thing, I had the reset button on the right side, beside light indicator. I think the difference is because of year of manufacturing... For new amateurs like me, the switch is called sw1.... thanks again sir from the bottom of my heart....

If this doesnt help then my understanding is you need a replacement of the infra thing (my take on what i learned the other day, better that DIY advises)

BTW i had my filters replace about 20 days before i faced this issue
Seems like each time that you replace the filter, this infra thing needs to be reset which the visiting engineer didnt do

sometimes micro-controller of ballast gets defective. in that case resetting won't work. replace the ballast or bypass it. Video link

Pressing the reset button for a continuous period of time didn't work for me. However pressing it n then releasing it quickly for like 10-20 times worked for me. I have the model where there is no cover for this alarm and you can directly access this button after removing the main transparent cover.

This did not work for my kent RO. But when I interchanged the negative and positive terminal of the main supply of RO, the beeping sound would stop. Finally it's working 😂. Now I don't have to pay 3700 (i.e. RO technician was telling) for just this small kind of repair.

@@anujmb Kent guy changed the filters, but did not reset the alarm, so it will start beeping after a certain fixed time and the machine will completely stop working until a kent guy comes and resets it and changes the filters again, many customers will not understand the trap. Kind of blackmailing just like hackers do by locking the system

try to reset the ballast two to three times until the beep sound stops. if the beep sound does not stops then check the UV lamp. if UV lamp is good that means the micro-controller of ballast is defective. you have to replace it or you can bypass the ballast.

Sir i technician chamged sedimnt filter and carbon filter in august 2019 now in 2021 its beeping again with 4 beeps. Now how to dete t that which fikter to change sedimnt or Ro or carbon?

the ballast does not give the exact condition of your filters. it works on number of hours of use. it only detects the UV lamp fault. if uv lamp is good then reset the filter it will work again. but it is better to change the sediment filter and carbon filter once in a year and RO filter in two to three year.

when to change the filters depends upon the input water TDS. if it is 250 to 300 then change sediment and pre carbon filter once a year and RO membrane UF membrane and post carbon filter in two to three years. yes you can reset.

Kent maxx -Green light is always on , filter stop working.All filters are new except UV tube what is the problem.

if no water is coming that means choke/ballast is not working. either replace, reset or bypass it. if ballast is good and UV lamp is glowing then check the solenoid valve.
