    These are great exercises! I have had double total knee replacements (one in August, the second in November) and seemed to have reached a plateau in my rehab. The McKenzie's are helpful and a nice change-up from my regular pt exercises. Thanks so much!

    Thanks to you guys I got rid of my knee pain after a couple of years of constant pain when I walk. I probed around my calves using my thumbs and I found a couple of little knots on the outside of my left calf. I'm massaged it and did some cross fiber massage along with some deep tissue and now the pain finally gone! You guys rock! Not sure if the knots were actually in my soleus or my peronias brevis muscle! Either way thanks so much the pain is gone!

    thank you. two orthos at cleve clinic just highly recommended and encouraged me to get another knee replacement.. told them since i already had one on other knee and it did not feel better, nor could i kneel to pray or do certain yoga positions, i would try to heal and calm the sudden excruciating pain that came on, naturally.. so i will do all that you guys recommend, increase collagen intake, take serrapeptase etc, to decrease inflammation and hope for the best.. and, i believe in miracles..

    What are the best weighted/resistance exercises or movements to reinforce the knees to prevent injury of the whole knee (acl, mcl, etc.,)?

    • @juliaschiewohl1476
      @juliaschiewohl1476 Před rokem

      in my opinion the quadriceps (like Leg extensions or also Squats) and the medial glutes (Leg Abduction like resisted squatted side steps) + hip external rotators are the most important for starting :) esp. for ACL prevention it’s important that your knees don’t rotate medially/inwards when you do a Squat or during landing from a jump f.ex

      I have this and it has been diagnosed as a Baker's cyst. Very painful, but it will resolve on it's own. Usually caused by trauma to the knee and the swelling is a sack filled with synovial fluid. Ironically, this is what is injected into our knees to stop pain. Isn't Nature amazing? www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bakers-cyst/symptoms-causes/syc-20369950 Hope this is helpful.

    Hi Doctors, I had a MCL sprain about 3 weeks ago. The Doctor didn't tell me what type of grade it was, he just told to rest for a couple of weeks and I should be good. I feel that I also have a medial meniscus tear because I feel my knee buckle when I'm sleeping and when I'm walking my knee pops or cracks. I was doing some research online on MCL sprains and meniscus injuries and found out that both of this injuries have similar symptoms. What should I do? Should I go get a MRI because when I went to the ER they only took a X-ray of my knee

    • @nancymuller3291
      @nancymuller3291 Před 6 lety +1

      Get an MRI. X-ray cannot show the real problem. Otherwise you will get the incorrect diagnosis. Don't know why there is so much resistances to the MRI. You can get X-rays until the cows come home and they will not show the real problem.
