- PUBG's new map, also known as Codename: Savage, was briefly tested in a closed beta and a few of us had the chance to try it out.
In Codename: Savage, the same 100 players are stuck together in a much smaller island (4x4 km instead of 8x8 km) in shorter games (~21 min as opposed to ~31 min), which inevitably leads to much more intense games. This video will explain everything you need to know to adapt to this new map when it finally comes out.

Competitive games in general tend to fair better in more simplistic maps since it allows skill to be a larger driving factor.

Suppressor is the most important attachment in SanHok because the map is small and the gun sound is loud so if u shoots a guns without suppressor, there will be a high chance for some guys to hear the gun shot from far a way and hunt you down

Tencent is working on it in PUBG mobile right now, there's gameplay of it already, looks quite nice actually. Also I'd imagine they'd make NVG's very common in this modes RNG so you'd have to loot like a dumbass to not find them.

Was with Otzkie on the 8 hour+ streaming binge where he only got as close as 2nd (mountain goat mode vs that No Scope 90 degree guy with the ghillie suit on) here in Savage but wasn't with him anymore on the Siege and when he *FINALLY* got the much coveted chicken dinner.

artem kot вкратце, он невероятно счастлив от новой карты. ему нравится ее маленький размер, благодаря чему зона медленнее и почти никого не убивает, а сброс позволяет добраться до любой части на парашюте. ему доставляет то, насколько эта карта сложнее, ведь:
1 сброс должен быть эффективным, иначе ты окажешься безоружным перед врагом.
2 ты обязан слушать, так как карта маленькая, кустов много и они большие, и ты сначала услышишь, а потом увидишь.
3 стрелять нужно только на поражение, так как стрельбу услышат все вокруг. и лутать курьеров нужно максимально быстро, ровно по той же причине.
4 много бесшумного оружия, а глушители здесь максимально эффективны. пламягасители сразу после них. внезапно ПП приоритетнее автоматов, а они стали намного эффективнее и важнее винтовок, а дробовики вообще стали оружие королей, ведь многие постройки деревянные и простреливаются.
5 топлива в технике мало, но сама техника очень и очень удобна в условиях пересечённой местности.
6 сам геймплей стал намного быстрее, пассивная игра стала проигрывать активным действиям
